Early Li Longji can be described as wise SHEN WOO, wise, decisive and versatile. Emma Wu Zetian likes Li Longji very much. Li Longji as an adult is even worse. First of all, through the political reform, Princess He Anle was killed and the Li family was saved. After Li Longji acceded to the throne, he launched a "congenital coup", killed Princess Taiping, disintegrated her power and completely mastered the power of the country.
Li Longji, who mastered the state power, began the journey of making great efforts to govern. At that time, after many coups, the Tang Dynasty was greatly weakened and the imperial system could not be well implemented. At this time, Li Longji knew that if he wanted to govern the country well, he needed the help of sages. Li Longji, with a unique vision, discovered talents such as Yao Chong, Song Jing, Zhang Shuo and Zhang Jiuling. At that time, there were so many famous soldiers in the Tang Dynasty that it was hard to say how the country was governed. When Zhang Shuo was in the prime minister's period, Kaiyuan reached its peak.
Li Longji, which started the prosperity of Kaiyuan, gradually lost its former virtues of enterprising and frugality and became more and more extravagant. The imperial court began to reuse some flatterers, such as traitor Li. After Li Longji got Yang Guifei in his later years, he ignored state affairs. At the same time, following Li's advice, we reused the conference semifinals in the border areas, and people like An Lushan spent our time in three military towns. During the reign of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, our time was very strong, and we could manage both military affairs and money and grain. Thus, the military situation in the Tang Dynasty was formed, and finally the Anshi Rebellion broke out.
After the An Shi Rebellion broke out, Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty had several death operations.
There are many reasons for the outbreak of Anshi Rebellion, but the main reason is that the local separatist forces are too strong and the local military forces want to compete with the Tang Dynasty for the world. Under such circumstances, An Shi Rebellion broke out.
In fact, before An Lushan launched the rebellion, many people told Li Longji that An Lushan was too heavy to support the army and would be countered one day. Just like Zhang Jiuling is more accurate in judging people, because as early as 20 years before the outbreak of the Anshi Rebellion, he asserted that the Anshi Rebellion would definitely rebel, saying that "those who mess up the country will be chaotic." At that time, An Lushan committed a military law and asked him to handle his opinions. Zhang Jiuling, the prime minister, beheaded him without hesitation, but Emperor Xuanzong turned a blind eye and let An Lushan go, giving An Lushan more power. Even Gao Lishi, an official, said to Li Longji, "How can your Majesty control too many troops on the border? I am afraid that once disaster strikes, it will be hopeless, so don't worry. " But Xuanzong didn't even listen to his confidant Gao Lishi's advice, so he was possessed and trusted An Lushan.
1, the first rule of Xuanzong's death-manslaughter of Gao Xianzhi.
After the uprising of An Shi Rebellion, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty did not believe that An Shi Rebellion would rebel, and thought that it was only someone who slandered An Shi Rebellion. Six days after the Anshi Rebellion, when the rebels were going to Luoyang, Tang Xuanzong realized that the Anshi Rebellion had really rebelled. Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty immediately appointed Gao Xianzhi and Feng Changqing as generals guarding Luoyang. However, An Lushan attacked Luoyang in 7551February 12 A.D. because Beijing had not experienced war for many years, and its armaments were slack, and most of the newly recruited soldiers were ordinary children and had no fighting capacity. Gao Xianzhi and Feng Changqing promoted Tongguan and adopted the strategy of sticking to it.
When Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty saw that Gao Xianzhi and Feng Changqing were defeated, he also listened to the slanderers of eunuch Bian Lingcheng, and beheaded Feng Changqing and Gao Xianzhi on the grounds of "breaking the law and losing education". Li Longji's practice belongs to the rhythm of death, and the morale ahead is weak. Don't ask, don't ask, Qingyuan will slay the general, how can a capable general lead troops and soldiers work for you?
2. The second part of the death of Xuanzong-forcing Ge Shuhan to fight.
After Gao Xianzhi was killed, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty began to use veteran Ge, who was a big star in the Tang Dynasty. At first, Ge Han Shu was too ill to get rid of it. Later, after repeated requests from Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, Ge Cai agreed to take charge. After Ge Shuhan led the troops, the form of war became better and better, and troops from all over the country poured in, with nearly 200,000 defenders in Tongguan.
At the same time, Li Guangbi and Guo Ziyi led the army to defeat the Shi Siming branch of the rebel army one after another, cutting off the communication line between the front line of the rebel army and john young's lair. The insurgents were blocked by Zhang Xun in Qiu Yong (now Qixian County, Henan Province) to the east and Gui Lu in Nanyang (now Dengzhou, Henan Province) to the south. The only way out for An Lushan is to break through Tongguan and take Chang 'an directly, so as to win the Central Plains. But Geshuhan firmly held Tongguan, and An Lushan failed in several attacks. An Lushan was caught between Scylla and Charybdis, and once planned to give up Luoyang and return to his lair, john young.
As a generation of famous soldiers, Ge Shuhan has seen that as long as he sticks to Tongguan, the rebels will be chaotic sooner or later, and they will surely win a total victory. So Ge told Xuanzong his intention and analyzed it to Xuanzong. The rebels burned, killed and looted all the way, which was unpopular, and they could be pacified without rebellion. It is precisely because the local form is more and more beneficial to Tang Jun, so at this time, Tang Xuanzong had the confidence to win, and Yang's fanning the flames, and he had the intention to take the initiative to send troops.
An Lushan saw that the storm could not work, so he began to use a series of stratagems. He asked Cui Ganyou to station old, weak, sick and disabled soldiers in Shaanxi county, and the elite troops were hidden. Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty knew that there were thousands of old, weak and sick people in Shanxian County, so he let Geshuhan send troops to take the initiative to attack. Geshuhan saw that this was An Lushan's plan. But Li Longji repeatedly forced Geshuhan to send troops. Goshuhan was afraid that Li Longji would execute him like Gao Xianzhi, so he had to send troops in tears. The final result, of course, was defeated by An Lushan's ambush, and General Gershuhan was arrested and surrendered to An Lushan. Tongguan was immediately breached and Chang 'an shook.
It was Li Longji's "second helper", and the Anshi Rebellion finally invaded Chang 'an. Before the Anshi Rebellion invaded Chang 'an, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty had already fled with Yang Guifei's sister, the prince, the emperor's grandson, the princess, the concubine, Yang, Wei, Wei, Chen and the near attendant Yanqiumen. The emperor fled and Datang was humiliated, all of which were attributed to Li Longji.
However, this is not over yet. When trying to escape into Sichuan, the army headed for Maweipo, and the soldiers of the Sixth Army finally couldn't bear it, launched a mutiny and killed Yang and others. Li Longji thought that Yang deserved to die, but she felt that Yang Guifei was in the palace and should not be put to death. However, the soldiers of the Sixth Army were angry. How could she be spared? Finally, in order to save himself, Xuanzong ordered Gao Lishi to hang Yang Guifei.
How miserable was Xuanzong's later life?
After the change of Ma Wei, Li Longji continued to flee to Sichuan, while Prince Hengli and his sons Li Ying and Li Chu went north to Lingwu. On the 13th day of the seventh lunar month in 756 AD, Prince Hengli became emperor in Lingwu, and Tang Suzong and Xuanzong became the emperor's father in the distance.
The inheritance of Hengli belongs to forced inheritance. At this time, Li Longji, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, had just arrived in Shu, and he also ordered Prince Hengli to organize counterinsurgency for the world's military marshal. Unexpectedly, I received the news of the crown prince's succession. Xuanzong had no choice but to accept the fact. At the same time, he issued a letter to the Crown Prince, acknowledging Hengli as the emperor. Li Longji's decision is very important. One of the important reasons why the Tang Dynasty was able to quell the rebellion and safeguard the country was that the power was concentrated in the hands of the emperor, avoiding the struggle within the ruling group. This is the most correct thing that Li Longji did in his later years.
When Li Longji was in Shu, he often thought of the sages. If they had, he wouldn't be in such a mess. When I think of Lee and Yang Shi, I always say how treacherous they are. Thinking of Yang Guifei, Li Longji shed tears several times. Later, Li Longji thought of the last Ren Xian, Zhang Jiuling, and regretted that he had not listened to Zhang Jiuling. An Lushan was executed and there would be no subsequent disaster. In the second year of exile in Shu, he sent envoys to Qujiang to pay homage to Zhang Jiuling who had died.
After Hengli succeeded to the throne, he appointed Guo Ziyi and Li Guangbi, and finally recovered Chang 'an. In 757, Li Longji also returned to Chang 'an. As soon as Li Longji arrived in Chang 'an, Hengli sent 3,000 soldiers to meet the enemy (suspected of a demonstration), and the 600 pro-armies of Li Longji were directly dissolved. Su Zong's relatives greeted Xuanzong at Wang Xianshao in Xianyang, Shaanxi. It is said that Su Zong wore a courtier's purple robe instead of a dragon robe. Xuanzong understood Su Zong's meaning, personally put on a dragon robe for his son and admitted Su Zong's identity. After the father and son met, they hugged each other and cried. Some people say that it is the image project of President Su, but I think there is also a father-son affection in it.
Li Longji came to Chang 'an and lived there because he liked Xingqing Palace. Li Longji often goes to the Daming Palace in Hengli, and the emperor often goes to Li Longji. In Xingqing Palace, his old subordinates Gao Lishi and Chen accompanied him. Su Zong also asked Princess Yu Zhen and the original maid-in-waiting to serve Xuanzong. So life in Li Longji is not bad at this time.
Xingqing Palace where Xuanzong lived can communicate with the outside world. Xuanzong visited Changqing Building several times. When outsiders saw Li Longji, they all knelt down and shouted long live. Li Longji was naturally very happy, and let these people come to the palace for dinner. Xuanzong also hosted a banquet for Guo Yingai, Wang Xi and others, and gave them many rewards. Officials in Kennan province used to have a hard time with Li Longji, so every time they went to the palace, they would visit Li Longji. Li Longji at this time can be said to be very good! Xuanzong also found the feeling of being an emperor in those days.
Li Longji was comfortable, but some people began to feel uncomfortable. According to historical records, Su Zong was very kind to Xuanzong, but the problem was that Li, Su Zong's confidant, hated Xuanzong's guts. The reason is that Xuanzong thought that he was born in a stable horse family, was extremely ugly and could not be reused, and was sent to the uterus. Later, because he was Su Zong's confidant, he was reused and gradually became more and more powerful. First, Li advised Su Zong, which means that the Emperor's father can't make friends with outsiders like this, which is easy to cause problems and threaten your rule.
Su Zong didn't believe it, but he still refused to give up Li. I once again advised Su Zong: It means that it is not good for anyone to allow the emperor's father to live in Xingqing Palace and communicate with the outside world. It is better to let the emperor's father live in Tai Chi Palace. Although Mr. Su disagreed, he did not refute it. Li took the initiative to move Xuanzong to Taiji Palace, and sent several guards with knives on the road, which scared Xuanzong to fall several times. Thanks to Gao Lishi's reprimand to Li, the matter came to an end.
Those who moved into Taiji Palace were miserable, and everyone around them was taken away by Li. Gao Lishi was demoted and Chen abdicated and died. At this time, it really became a loner, and Su School 100 people served Xuanzong. But at this time, Su Zong was in poor health and often did not visit Xuanzong for a long time. However, Li did not blame Su Zong for his treatment of the emperor's father. Perhaps he was suspicious of Xuanzong in Su Zong's heart. Just as Li Longji suspected that Prince Hengli was the emperor, the tables have turned, and Li Longji probably didn't expect it to be today! The last year in Li Longji was really miserable, mainly because there was no one to accompany him and communicate with him, just like when Wu Zetian was ousted from the throne. In 762 AD, Li Longji, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, died of depression, and Su Zong died ten days later.
To sum up, Li Longji's life in his later years was OK at first, but the last year was really miserable. One person missed Yang Guifei more and more, which can be said to be sad to death. But then again, in the history of the emperor's father, in addition to the emperor Qianlong, the emperor's father was more comfortable. Which emperor's father was not as miserable? Li Longji, as the main person responsible for the outbreak of the Anshi Rebellion, compared with those who were displaced by the war, those soldiers who died in the battlefield and those who lost their loved ones because of the war, Li Longji's life in his later years was still good.
