Brief introduction of Qixingyan scenic spot in Zhaoqing

Qixingyan is located in Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province, with a total area of 8.23 square kilometers. Named after the arrangement of seven limestone peaks like the Big Dipper in the sky, it takes peak forests, caves, lakes, inscriptions and temples as the main landscapes.

The cliff stone carvings in the scenic area are known as "the first wonder of Lingnan" and are the most complete and concentrated cliff stone carvings in Lingnan area.

There are mainly scenic spots such as Shuiyue Rock Cloud, Xiao Chun in Apricot Garden, Tianzhu Star Picking, Yu Yan in Apricot Garden, Yuping Diecui, Millennium Poetry Gallery, Linqu Water, Lying in Denver, Chengxiang Crane and Shidong Ancient Temple.

Zhaoqing Qixingyan memorial archway

Zhaoqing Qixingyan archway is located at the southernmost tip of Zhaoqing Xinghu, right in front of the existing archway square, with a wide marble platform and stepped steps.

There is a square on the north side of the memorial archway, covering an area of 28,300 square meters. It is an activity center and a large-scale public activity place integrating entertainment, leisure, viewing and shopping. The square has the largest musical fountain in Guangdong (three performances every night), and the square culture is quite famous in the province. Visitors can watch cultural performances here for free on weekends.

Rock cave

It consists of Longyong Cave, Bixia Cave and Lianhua Cave. Longyan Cave is guided by a boat, and the last two caves can be visited on foot. Longyandong is the earliest and most scenic cave in the Seven-Star Rock.
