Liu Peilin’s academic research

Over the years, he has been committed to research and practice in the fields of resource and environmental economics, regional economics and human settlements.

My main research interests focus on the fields of human settlements, tourism planning, regional economy and higher education. He has long been engaged in research on the intersection between natural sciences and social sciences. Since 2001, he has presided over and completed more than 10 projects including the National Natural Science Foundation project, the National Social Science Foundation project, the National Education Science Foundation project, the Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Sciences project, and the Hunan Provincial Outstanding Youth Fund project.

He also promoted the promulgation of the protection policy of "China's famous historical and cultural towns and villages"; planned and promoted the promulgation of the "Qikou Declaration" on the protection and development of China's ancient villages and towns; and successively published resource development, real estate planning, He has published more than 80 papers on regional image design and regional management; he has won 4 provincial and ministerial level second-class scientific and technological achievement awards; and won academic honors such as the "National Youth Geography Science and Technology Award" and the "Hunan Youth Science and Technology Award".

Has presided over and completed 2 National Social Science Foundation projects, 2 National Natural Science Foundation projects, 1 National Education Science Planning key project, 2 Ministry of Education humanities and social science planning projects, and more than 10 provincial and ministerial level scientific research projects Published 10 books such as "Heritage Protection and Tourism Development of Ancient Towns and Famous Villages" and "Feng Shui-Chinese People's Views on the Environment". He has been invited to Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, etc. Professor Liu Peilin’s academic achievements have been reported and introduced by domestic and overseas media in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, the United Kingdom, and Canada.
