The first phase of Zhonglun Park covers an area of 25, square meters, and the construction content includes two entrances, namely, the west entrance of Jinshang Road and the north entrance of Lvling Road near Caitang, and supporting the construction of night scenes. There will also be two parking lots, two environmentally-friendly public toilets and some garden sketches, as well as a garden road connecting the two entrances and several hiking trails.
Enter from the north entrance of the park on Lvling Road. On both sides of the road are peach blossom forests with an area of more than 1 mu, which is a major feature of Zhonglun Park. More than 3, peach trees are several meters high, and more than 3 peach trees with a height of only about 1 meter are planted at intervals. It is the first time to introduce peach blossoms in such a large area in Xiamen.
Not far along the forest road in the park, you will see a banyan square with a diameter of about 38 meters. It is said that the giant banyan in the square is as old as 5 years, which is not the longest life in Zhonglun Park! The square is all paved with granite naturally, which retains the natural style in design.
The Lotus Peak at the west entrance is another highlight of Zhonglun Park. According to experts, Lotus Peak used to be a rock arch, with lush trees and lotus seats on the peak, hence its name. Under the peak, it suddenly becomes clear, the mountain looks like lotus water, and the beautiful scenery is unique, which is called "Fengshui Stone" by residents in this area.
In the second and third phases of the park, some trees with different flower seasons will be planted, such as peach blossoms and rape blossoms in spring, phoenix trees in summer, bougainvillea in autumn and kapok and ivory red in winter. Zhonglun Park will become a park with the theme of four seasons flowers. Shenxiao Palace is located in Hecuo Shunji Palace in Xiamen. Shenxiao Palace has a long history and was built in Song Dynasty. Now it is located in Zhonglun Park (Zhonglun Nursery). It was built several times in history, and the last reconstruction was in 1993. Looking at Shenxiao Palace from a height, it is surrounded by green trees, surrounded by trees and full of flowers. Walking into Shenxiao Palace is like walking into a green world and a sea of flowers, and all kinds of flowers and trees are scattered, which makes people feel relaxed and happy.
People living here generally live a long life, which is not only related to the superior environment here, but also the hard-working villagers are blessed by Mazu. There are several stories circulating here:
The Virgin of Heaven is worshipped in the palace-Mazu, Tianzungong, Guandi Gong, Yan Ye, Zhusheng Empress, Master Ma, General Tiger, Tugong, Marshal Zhong Tan, Jin Yun, Liu Bei and Zhang Fei.
Every year on the fifteenth day of the first month of the Lantern Festival, the temple holds a performance to reward the gods (Taiwanese opera) and Mazu
tours around the country to protect the country and the people, and the weather is good
The villagers of Shenxiao Palace go to Hecuo Shunji Palace every year on the 23rd day of the third lunar month. Once, when Mazu went to Hecuo Shunji Palace in Shenxiao Palace, Mazu appeared, found a thief in Hecuo-min's house, and asked the prodigy to catch the thief. Finally, the thief was caught. This story has been circulated among He CuO, Zhong Lun and even the people in Xiamen. On another occasion, when I went to Shunji Palace to make pilgrimages, it happened that a villager in Hecuo was blocked by small bamboo filaments for several days while eating, and he was on the verge of death. Mazu showed his spirit and immediately expelled the small bamboo filaments from his body. The villager was safe and sound, which became a popular story. Another time, in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, when Japan attacked Xiamen, straw was put in Shenxiao Palace, and the Japanese devils tried to set fire to the temple, but they couldn't afford to burn it. The Japanese devils were terrified. This is even more amazing! There are many legends and stories that make Shenxiao Palace famous and well-known, so pilgrims often come here to worship, and the incense is flourishing.
Villagers in Zhonglun commune set up incense tables to welcome the holy driver.
There are couplets in the palace:
God bless the countryside to attract hundreds of blessings, and night guards the Li commune to receive thousands of blessings.
The sound of the stone drum is broadcast by the sound radar, and the temple is full of new looks. During the construction of Zhonglun Park, a huge stone resembling a parrot was accidentally found in the wild grass, and two stone carvings of Mo < P > Cliff, which have never been recorded in literature and history, were carved on the stone. Walking from Jinshang Road to Peking University Biological Park, you can see three big stones standing on the cleaned hillside. The top of a boulder in the middle seems to be intentionally sharpened, just like the beak of a bird. The sharpened lower part is like a bird's body, which is like looking around warily and resting on a boulder. Under the boulder, there is also a hole, which can accommodate more than a dozen people.
According to the managers of Zhonglun Nursery and local villagers, during the Golden Gate artillery battle, many shells fell from the other side of Wutong area, and some villagers were unfortunately hit. The frightened villagers ran to the caves among the huge stones to hide, and many people escaped the war. Later, there was a period of civil strife in the island, and the rocks behind the boulders were blown up, and several boulders in front were kept. As for the words carved on the stone, they have never known them because they have been covered by weeds for a long time.
The inscriptions on the cliff of the boulder are shallow, but the three characters of "Ying Ge Stone" carved in running script are still clearly visible. There is also a five-line regular script next to it, and the signature is "Lianjiang Lin Huanzhang". According to the preliminary research of literature and history experts in our city, these two new cliff stone carvings that Xiamen literature and history scholars have not yet discovered are "Ying Ge Stone" written by Yu Yu, a famous contemporary scholar, poet and calligrapher in China. The other is the Lotus Peak, an inscription on a geomantic stone in 1928 (that is, in the 17th year of the Republic of China).
Hong Buren, an expert in literature and history, consulted all versions of local chronicles in his collection, but found no records about "Ying Ge Stone" and "Lotus Peak". "I think there are at least two breakthroughs in the discovery of this scenic spot. First, it was lost in the weeds before, and no one found that the scenic spot was not recorded in Xiamen chronicles of the Republic of China, which filled a gap in local chronicles. On the other hand, with the construction of Zhonglun Park, this will become a major cultural highlight of the new park."
