Condenser and evaporator are common refrigeration equipment, but their definitions are different.
The condenser is a heat exchanger, which directly cools the high temperature and high pressure refrigerant in the condenser, changes it from gas to liquid, and releases a lot of heat. The condenser is usually a double-tube heat exchanger, the inner tube is refrigerant, and the outer tube is cooling water or air.
Evaporation box is one or more closed containers, which are cooled by injecting refrigerant into it to change its gaseous or liquid state into gas under high vacuum. The evaporation box is usually a closed box, and a refrigerant condensing tube or cooling device is laid inside to take away the heat in the refrigerant.
Second, function
Both condenser and evaporation box have refrigeration function, but the realization methods are different.
The condenser is mainly used to change the high-temperature and high-pressure gas state of refrigerant into low-temperature and low-pressure liquid state, and at the same time, it discharges the heat released by refrigerant to the outside of the equipment to play a cooling role. Condensers are widely used in air conditioners, freezers, cold storage and so on.
Evaporation box is usually used in the refrigeration process of refrigeration equipment to change the gaseous state of refrigerant into liquid state and play a role in rapid cooling. Evaporation box is widely used in refrigeration equipment, hydraulic pump station, welding equipment, medical equipment and so on.
Third, the structure
The structure of condenser and evaporation box is also different.
The condenser usually consists of two tubes, the outer tube is usually made of aluminum or steel, and the inner tube is made of copper refrigeration tube. Refrigerant flows in the inner tube, and cooling water or air flows in the outer tube. Cooling water or air will change the high-temperature and high-pressure refrigerant flowing in the inner tube into a low-temperature and low-pressure state through heat exchange with the outer tube, and at the same time, the released heat will be discharged out of the equipment.
Evaporation box is usually a closed container, which is equipped with refrigeration device or refrigeration pipeline. By injecting refrigerant into it, its gaseous or liquid state is converted into gas, thus realizing the function of refrigeration. The internal refrigeration device of the evaporation box usually includes an evaporator and a condenser, wherein the evaporator mainly absorbs the heating load, and the condenser is used to discharge the heat absorbed by the evaporator.
