Geographic Feng Shui Video of Chuanshan Town, Liujiang District

The "capital" used to be another name for the grass-roots political power at the township level. Liuzhou had six capitals in Qing dynasty, which was renamed township after the Republic of China. In those days, Liudu mainly refers to Chuanshan area, which is now Chuanshan Town, Liujiang County. Liujiang, formerly known as Liuzhou, is divided into six capitals (administrative regions). Today Labao, Jinde and some suburbs of Liuzhou in Liujiang County belong to one capital, Liujiang County belongs to two capitals, three capitals or three capitals, Bai Peng is four capitals, Roman is five capitals, and Li Yong, Chuanshan and Luobu belong to six capitals. Because of the different geographical environment and cultural customs of each city, each city has its own characteristics. There is a folk song in Liuzhou: "One is rice, the other is women, the third is wealth, the fourth is mediocrity, the fifth is smelly shit, and the sixth is no rice." It is said that Yidu is rich in fertile land and groundwater resources, and local people are good at rice cultivation, so it is rich in high-quality rice; Toure's women can spin, be good women workers and keep house; Most villages in Sandu are beside the official road. Most villagers take care of agriculture and commerce, have more money at hand, live a relatively comfortable life, and a few people are quite rich. Fourth, before the opening of the railway, it was relatively closed, but the production and life were generally acceptable; Roman, Wudu, is a large-scale town fair, which is not only a distribution center for nearby agricultural and sideline products, but also a gathering place for vendors in Liuzhou and Yishan. Besides, people are proud of its clean streets and better houses. In Liuzhou dialect, it is smelly shit; Liudu, especially Sichuan and Shaanxi, is not suitable for growing rice because of lack of water and barren land. Of course, there is no rice. According to legend, "Yidu Rice" was introduced from Guangdong. During the Qianlong period, Zeng Xun and Zeng Rong, two brothers from Xingning County, Guangdong Province, got married and had children, and settled in Tugou Village, Yidu. At the same time, they brought oil rice seeds from Guangdong and distributed them to nearby farmers for planting. They also taught local people to use peanut bran to fish human and animal droppings and plant ash cooking as base fertilizer. The excellent local soil quality and abundant water resources, coupled with the advanced farming technology brought by the Zeng brothers, make the rice crystal clear, fine and sharp. The cooked rice is fragrant, soft and tastes better than the original rice grown in Guangdong. People call this kind of rice "little oily". The rice grains cooked in small oil are arranged neatly, like a row of small white teeth. Guangzhou people gave it a name, called "pointed rice". Because of its excellent quality, this kind of rice was quickly popularized in some villages in Yidu and Duer. Zeng Xun has a son named Zeng Guanglin, who is very business-minded. He is also a farmer and a businessman. He bought high-quality rice from Yidu, then hired ox carts to transport it to Jila Wharf, and then loaded it on a boat and sold it in Guangzhou. It is said that when his business was booming, several ships loaded 700,000-800,000 Jin of rice each time. The arrival of the Zeng grain carrier will shake the grain market in Guangzhou: at one time, the citizens rushed to buy rice because of its high quality and low price. If the local rice wholesaler can't compete with him, he will have to stop selling and wait and see. The Zeng family's rice was sold out, and the fleet brought daily groceries from Guangzhou back to Liuzhou to sell. Built in San Qian Village, Jinde Township, Liujiang County, this manor-style building, known as "nine halls and eighteen wells", was once prominent in Liujiang and even Liuzhou, and was built by the Zeng family who made a fortune in business. Due to the excellent quality of oil rice produced in Yidu, Liujiang, it is very popular among Guangzhou people. There is a long-standing folk proverb in Guangzhou: "Pear firewood, rice fangs, glutinous rice means bacon is fragrant to the bottom of the pot." It's about bacon-flavored rice cooked with pear wood. Delicious, from casserole noodles to the bottom of the pot. The proverb "Pear Chai" is a specialty of Liuzhou, "Tooth Tip Rice" is high-quality rice, and "Ma Zhi Bacon" is sausage bacon made by a famous teacher nicknamed "Ma Zhi". During the Jiajing period of the Qing Dynasty, the Three Rivers led by Chen Kai revolted in Foshan, Guangdong, besieged Guangzhou, rebelled against Jiangxi, captured Zhou Xun (now Guiping, Guangxi) and established Dacheng. Later, Li sent Pingjing Wang to capture Liuzhou. When food aid was not available, a fellow villager with a Tseng family persuaded them to support the rebels with a large amount of rice. To this end, the Qing army stationed in the camp laid siege to Zengjia Manor. Nowadays, Yidu's "tooth-pointed rice" no longer appears in the market. As for the theory of ten capitals, there is no textual research at present. With the development of the times, there will be more and more differentiation. But when it was divided into ten capitals, it was renamed as hometown by the government.
