Qiu Feng Reservoir, located at the northern foot of Nanshan, is a controlled reservoir upstream of Liangying, the largest tributary of Lianjiang River. The water surface of the reservoir is 3 kilometers in vertical and horizontal direction, the rainwater collection area is 105 square kilometers, and the total storage capacity is 63.84 million cubic meters. The existing earth dam is 28m high, 6m wide and 2049m long. There are two floodgates with a maximum flood discharge of 452 cubic meters per second.
