Hululing Ancient City Wall
In today's southern foothills, next to the pumping tower of the county waterworks, five relatively complete ancient Ming Dynasty city walls are still preserved. The total length of the city wall is 84. 1 m, and 1985 was listed as a county-level cultural relics protection unit. According to the introduction of the old man in Boluo City, the eastern end of the original city wall was repaired to the middle line of Hululing, commonly known as "all-silk hanging gourd". Later, the city wall bypassed one side of Hulu Mountain and wrapped the whole mountain in the city wall, so it was called "bagging Hulu". There are two reasons: first, because of the need for defense; It is said that at the end of the Ming Dynasty, a foreigner who was a magistrate in Boluo was very jealous when he saw that Boluo people were proud of their official career. According to Mr. Feng Shui's calculation, in order to destroy the Feng Shui in Boluo, he rebuilt the city wall and changed the "golden hanging gourd" into a "bagging gourd". The county cultural relics investigation team conducted a field investigation on the ruins of the city wall, which confirmed that the city wall had been built many times at the beginning, but in the last period, the city wall started from Hulu Mountain in the east and reached the mouth of Rongxi River in the west.
