Luo Shu was developed on the basis of Hetu. It also uses black and white dots to form odd and even numbers, but Luo Shu only uses nine digits. The combination of these symbols represents the cycle of seasons throughout the year.
In addition, whether these nine digits are added horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, the sum obtained is fifteen. This wonderful balance symbolizes that the movement and transformation of yin and yang will break the balance, but will eventually return to the overall balance. This is exactly the internal execution law after the formation of the universe, so Luo Shu is also known as the "acquired universe map".
Fuxi created the Innate Bagua based on the He Diagram, while King Wen of Zhou created the Acquired Bagua based on the Luo Shu. Bagua is actually a cosmic diagram used by the ancients to further scientificize their understanding of the universe.
