2 Qizisong
Qiqi pine in front of Daishan Rock is the most famous. According to legend, Zhu sent his friend to the front of the mountain and watched him on his way, but he was covered by a tall and straight pine forest. Zhu flew into a rage and waved. "It's good for you that pine trees grow so tall." Strange to say, a miracle appeared in the pine forest the next day. The tall and straight pine trees are gone, but they grow as tall and neat. Later generations called this spectacle "the song of Qi Qi".
3 "Yong Zheng Torrent"-Eliminating the Evil Monks in Kaiyuan Temple
Zhu didn't know Zhangzhou until the first year of the Southern Song Dynasty (1 190). When he first took office in Zhangzhou, the bureaucracy was chaotic and the social atmosphere was bad. Although Zhu's rectification of Zhangzhou lasted only one year, it was quite political. According to folklore, the abbot of Kaiyuan Temple is said to be a mouse. He knows magic, can call the shots, and is very powerful. People in the countryside are afraid of him.
One day, the mousetrap let a torrent gush from the wellhead, trying to drown the government and the county magistrate. Zhu Wengong picked up the big plaque with vermilion pointing to "Zhangzhou House", and it immediately fell into the torrent. Zhu Wengong also asked the officers to shout: "Zhangzhou Prefecture was washed away by the flood!" The mousetrap is very proud. He tried again to pump the flood back into the well. Unexpectedly, the big plaque of "Zhangzhou House" also drifted with the retreat of the flood, and finally flowed down the river to cover the wellhead with a mousetrap. Zhu Wengong mentioned the cinnabar pen, wrote the four characters "Yongzheng Torrent" on a stone tablet and pressed it on the wellhead. In this way, rats can no longer commit crimes in the well.
