Yingtan Village is located in Luluo Town, the western mountainous area of Xingtai County, Hebei Province, more than 6 kilometers away from Xingtai City and 8 kilometers west of Luluo Town. The village is divided into three natural villages with 2 households and more than 62 people. Historians praise it as a treasure trove of geomantic omen. The village has unique and beautiful natural scenery, profound historical and cultural heritage, beautiful mountains and rivers, simple folk customs, and is known as Yichuan, Sanshan, Liuyan, Jiugou, Shibanao and "the first ancient stone village in Jiangbei". In the ancient village built under the hillside, the stone fence is particularly strict under the shade of trees; At the east gate of the village, the tall stone gatehouse is like a small town building; The stone house in the wall is built on the hillside, simple and elegant, with high and low levels; The cool corn on the roof, golden, and the ancient trees complement each other, forming a simple, beautiful and wonderful picture of the mountain village.

It is reported that this village was built in the second year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (AD 143). At that time, a family named Hu Lu moved here from Hongdong to build a house and settle down, which has a history of more than 6 years. At present, there are 175 households with more than 64 people in the village, cultivating more than 37 mu of land, and owning more than 1, mu of mountain fields. Chestnut and walnut are the main cash crops here.

when you walk into the ancient village, the trees are lush, and there are small bridges and flowing water, and flowers are everywhere; The streets paved with rocks and the steps paved with stones are still orderly after hundreds of years; Houses built of rectangular stones are old and strong; Houses built on the mountain are mostly small buildings with two or three floors, which can be entered into the courtyard or upstairs along the mountain. From street to house, from wall to roof, the ancient village is paved and built with stones, especially the ancient city wall, embrasured watchtower and four-corner gates, which are very distinctive. The village in front of us seems to be like a medieval castle in Europe.

According to legend, the Huang Chao Uprising Army was stationed here at the end of the Tang Dynasty and held a heroic forum, hence the name of the village. During the Anti-Japanese War, it was once the residence of the Kuomintang provincial government and the headquarters of Jinan Bank. The 67 courtyards built in the ancient village are exquisite, simple and elegant, with typical ancient Taihang architectural style. Small and medium-sized stone buildings, ancient city walls, Sihetang, Dripping Springs, and wave stone shadow walls in the village have all gone through hundreds of years of wind and rain, and still retain their original features. This is one of the best preserved stone villages found in the north; The folk customs accumulated here are important historical materials for studying the local customs in southern Hebei in Ming and Qing Dynasties. Here, the folk customs are simple, the scenery is beautiful, the climate is pleasant, and the beautiful mountain village is like a paradise, which makes tourists linger.
