The Prime Minister's Temple is the ancestral hall of Zhuge's family in Gaolong. Built in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, it has a zigzag layout from east to west. It consists of gate, atrium, corridor, bell and drum tower and main hall, with a total area of 1.400 square meters. There are three main doors in the middle, railings between eaves and columns, four board doors between gold columns, drum-hugging stones outside, and exquisite brick-grinding screens on the left and right. The main door is opened in the fence, and the door is opened from the left and right sides of the fence. Why does the ancestral temple go in and out through two doors? It is said that there are exquisite things here. It turns out that the ancestral temple of the Prime Minister looks like a tiger. When the ancestral temple was built, two Wang Xingren lived opposite, which shows that Feng Shui is so good. For the sake of the two Wang Xing families across the street, they didn't open the front door and went in and out through the second side door. It embodies the broad mind of Zhuge family.
The gatehouse, bedroom and two walls of the Prime Minister's Temple are well proportioned, with simple decoration and bright and exquisite lines. These buildings are enclosed into a square yard with a width of 23 meters and a depth of 18 meters. In the middle of the courtyard is a magnificent atrium with five bays (16.6m) and three bays (9.2m), which is the hall of Xieding Mountain. The eaves column and the mountain column are all square columns of bluestone (***44), the height of the ridge sandalwood is 8.9 meters, and the diameter of the four gold columns in the middle is about 50 cm. They are made of pine, cypress, tung and Toona sinensis, which are homophonic.
