During the Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty, Wu, a Taoist priest from Hainan, traveled all over Hainan Island in search of the cultivation of alchemists. Finally, he took a fancy to the geomantic omen in wuzhizhou and wanted to live in it to build a house and cultivate his self-cultivation. It was learned by the magistrate Zhong of Yazhou at that time, and he came to wuzhizhou. After seeing such a beautiful island and excellent feng shui, he thought that this treasure should not be used by individuals, but should benefit the people. So Taoist Wu's behavior was stopped, and the state raised funds to build an altar on the island, named "Three Views on the Sea", dedicated to the creator of China square Chinese characters, which is very rare in China and should be written into Hainan's cultural history. The time history of building the temple is 1893, which has a history of more than 100 years. After the fall of the Qing government, no one cared about Antang, and the fishermen didn't know what god to worship, so they pushed down the statue and offered it to their patron saint Mazu. The original temple has collapsed, and the island's developers and builders rebuilt it in 1993.
Lover Bridge
Lover Bridge, originally a cable bridge, was the observation point of the troops guarding the island. It takes a little courage and cleverness to walk on the rickety iron cable bridge. Some young ladies want to cross the bridge at the observation point to experience it, but they are afraid of falling into the sea. When crossing the bridge, they held their friends' hands tightly, so the bridge was nicknamed "Lover Bridge". Later, for the safety of guests, the original iron cable bridge was transformed into the current wooden bridge on the island.
Guanriyan
Riguanyan is located in the southeast cliff of Wuzhizhou. Standing on the rocks overlooking the whole island, you can have a panoramic view of the vast South China Sea. Under the cliff, there are rugged rocks. When it is calm, you can travel around the island by speedboat, and the stone scenery is strange. Watching the sun rock is like a big natural stone Buddha, facing the sea and practicing day and night. Watching Sun Rock slowly climb to the sea like a giant turtle, expecting to return to my hometown, so it is also called sea-exploring scarab. The first light of the new century rises from here, and the crimson sun rises slowly from the sea, forming an excellent point to watch the sun on the sea. Every time the wind blows, the waves beat against the stones, and the wave peaks in this area are as high as ten meters. After the wave peak, there are white waves on the sea surface, which is called "rolling up thousands of piles of snow"
Scarabs explore the ocean.
Under the sun rock in the southeast of Wuzhizhou, there is a naturally formed boulder, such as a giant turtle, whose head and armor are clearly identifiable. What is particularly commendable is that there is a strip rock exposed from the sea in front of the whole boulder. When the sea hits, it is like a turtle paddling with its feet, full of movement and lifelike. Like a giant tortoise, it is looking forward to returning to its hometown and crawling slowly to the sea, so it is called "sea-exploring scarab".
Valentine's island
Lover island, who has experienced the baptism of ebb and flow for thousands of years, still stands quietly, facing each other. Legend has it that in ancient times, people named love in memory of a pair of spoony lovers because it was turned into stone by the angry dragon king. Now it has become a major attraction in Wuzhizhou, a good place for young men and women to whisper and listen to the waves.
Live a good life
According to the Records of Sanya, according to legend, before this, there was a fisherman who made a living by fishing in the sea. One day, father and son were caught in a typhoon and fell into the water. After several days of struggle, they drifted to the beach in Wuzhizhou when they were hungry and thirsty. Suddenly, they saw a small puddle not far from the beach and they were saved. Later, he settled down on the island, dug a well in the puddle, and named the fishermen who used to go fishing in the sea "Life Well", which has been used ever since.
The view of the seaside promenade
On the west side of Wuzhizhou, wooden corridors and platforms have been built along the coastal terrain. You can enjoy the clear water of Wuzhizhou along the corridor.
