The reason why the God of Fortune fish turns white is generally due to the following reasons: 1. Sickness. 2. The water quality is not good. 3. The water temperature is low. 4. The content of astaxanthin in food is low. 5. The amount of water change is too large.

1. Insulation. This species is a tropical fish and has strict temperature requirements. The suitable water temperature is 22-32°C. On rainy days or when cold air comes, the water must be heated in time to raise the temperature. The depth of the pool water must be maintained at ordinary times. Be careful not to heat up too quickly to prevent the temperature from rising. Sudden changes are detrimental to the growth of broodstock. When the water temperature is too high, add cold water in time.

2. Water retention. One is to ensure the water depth is above 2 meters; the other is to ensure the water source. It is necessary to ensure the timely and sufficient supply of cold and hot water; the third is to ensure the water quality, keeping it fat, lively, tender and refreshing, with a transparency of more than 35 centimeters. New water should be added frequently, usually 2 to 3 times a month, adding 10 to 20 centimeters of water each time. Drain the old water before adding water. In summer, the frequency and amount of water changes can be appropriately increased. Each breeding tank should be equipped with an aerator to facilitate timely oxygenation or first aid. During the wintering period, in fine weather, the insulation cover can be properly uncovered to facilitate air circulation and exchange.

3. Food protection. First, ensure the nutritional value of the food. The food must be fresh feed with high protein content. Do not feed rotten food with incomplete nutrition. Second, ensure the amount of food. This breed has a complex food habit and a large food intake, so be sure to feed it as needed. Third, ensure the food is nutritious. The food table should be hygienic. The food table should be cleaned frequently to remove leftover bait and debris, and baskets should be hung frequently for disinfection.

(2) Stocking. The stocking density should not be too high, and the stocking of broodstock per acre of water surface should not exceed 120 kilograms. Pay attention to clearing and disinfecting the pond before stocking, and the introduction is required to be pure, neat in size, free from diseases and injuries, and in good health.
