What are mountains and directions?
There are 360 degrees on the geomantic compass. Divided into twenty-four mountains, each mountain is 15 degrees. Twenty-four mountains can also be divided into five squares, each with 3 degrees. When judging the direction of the mountain, the pointer points to the middle three squares of each mountain, that is, the middle 9 degrees, which can be called the positive direction of the mountain, but if it points to the edge of the saddle stitch or 3 degrees near the hexagram line, it is called the direction of the mountain.
