Yuantouzhu is a peninsula on the northwest coast of Taihu Lake, located in Wuxi. It got its name because a huge stone reached into the lake in the shape of a turtle with its head held high. Yuantou Pearl Scenic Area was built in 19 16, covering an area of 539 hectares. There are many landscapes, such as beautiful hidden mountains, deer peaks facing the light, yunzhu Spring Peach, Hengyun Mountain Villa, Guangfu Temple, Taihu Fairy Island, Jiangnan Orchid Garden, Sino-Japanese Cherry Blossom Friendship Forest and so on, each with its own characteristics. The scenic spot has become a well-known tourist attraction at home and abroad.
