1. Stop the car engine and wait for cooling. Opening the cover of the car radiator will cause dangerous high-temperature steam to radiate from the core area.
2. Open the radiator cover. Before opening the radiator cover, you need to read the owner's manual of the car carefully to learn more about how to open the radiator horizontal cover safely.
3. Block the opening on the radiator with a plug or sealing tape. This process will ensure that no liquid leaks out during the exhaust process.
Start the car and let the engine run so as to pump the liquid out of the water tank. Let the engine run for a few minutes. This will help push the air upward out of the radiator horizontal cover.
Stop the car and let it cool down. Wait a few minutes for the engine to cool down. Make sure that the pressure/gas to be discharged has started the cooling process before opening the radiator cover.
6. Loosen the radiator liquid level cover, so that the pressure and gas in the engine water tank can be discharged smoothly. Be careful when loosening the cover, because gas will still escape from the liquid level cover.
7. Observe the liquid level in the water tank and add enough coolant when necessary. Finally, make sure the cover is tight.
It should be noted that if you don't know how to operate these, or need a higher level of deflation or other maintenance services, please consult a professional car maintenance personnel or service provider.
