Why can’t you wear it until 7 days after switching it on?

No reason. This is nonsense. Dear, to understand it in modern terms, consecration is to infuse positive energy into a designated object with the help of the blessings of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, so it actually makes no difference where and when it is consecrated.

Consecration can generally be done as follows:

1. Go to the temple and ask a monk to consecrate it (you need to make offerings as you wish, which means paying some fees according to your own financial situation. If the other party clearly states the price, then please turn around and go Go, because this is where fake monks come to borrow money from the Buddha); you can also go to a Taoist temple to ask a Taoist priest to consecrate you, but the difference between Taoism and Buddhism is that Buddhism emphasizes compassion and joy, so we will serve you free of charge, while Taoism emphasizes "Dharma" "It's not free", so charging a certain fee is a reasonable subsidy. Therefore, the Taoist priest has clearly marked the price, and if you can accept it, there is no problem.

2. Asking private professionals such as Feng Shui masters to help with consecration requires a fee, and there are indeed clearly marked prices. It’s hard to say this, because people make a living doing this;

3. Asking a layman to help, it only costs the price of a meal, which is more affordable;

4. If you can recite the Great Compassion Mantra yourself and recite the Great Compassion Mantra 21 times in front of the object to be consecrated, you can also bless and consecrate it. This is the most economical, zero cost!

The last thing to note is: as long as it is a pendant in the shape of a god or Buddha, it does not need to be consecrated. This Buddhist principle is a bit difficult to explain. In short, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas use four methods to save people: 1. Appearance, 2. Behavior, 3. Transmission of Dharma, and 4. Name. Therefore, if you observe the majestic appearance of Buddha and Bodhisattva, learn from the teachings of Buddha and Bodhisattva, obey the laws of Buddha and Bodhisattva, and chant the name of Buddha and Bodhisattva, you can achieve blessings and salvation. This is true for Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, let alone gods like Zhong Kui and Guan Yu? You must know that the realm of gods is at least four levels away from that of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and they have not yet jumped out of the six paths of reincarnation. So once it is a specific shape of a god or Buddha, when you look at it, you will have the idea in your mind, "Well, this is such-and-such a great god or such-and-such Buddha and Bodhisattva." This belongs to the first and fourth of the four conveniences: " "Observe the solemn appearance of the Buddha and Bodhisattva, and chant the name of the Buddha and Bodhisattva", so your thoughts will naturally connect to it, so there is no need for consecration. Worldly people do not understand Buddhist principles, so they call this "sincerity leads to spirituality."
