Penglai Mountain, located in the northwest of Anxi County, was founded in the Northern Song Dynasty, and it has been more than 95 years. It is a national AAA-level scenic spot and a pilgrimage destination renowned at home and abroad. Qingshui Rock is the only rock temple with an "emperor"-shaped main hall in China. The pavilions and halls in the scenic area are majestic, with beautiful scenery and magical scenery, and cultural relics are scattered all over the place. Among the existing cultural relics and historic sites, there are 29 in Song Dynasty, 1 in Yuan Dynasty, 8 in Ming Dynasty, 5 in Qing Dynasty and 23 in modern times. Together with the natural landscape created in heaven, it constitutes a fascinating "Penglai Wonderland". The stone inscriptions and cliff carvings of Qingshuiyan involve the Song, Yuan, Ming, Qing and even modern times, among which the "Rock Map" tablet in the Song Dynasty is the most precious and is a provincial-level protected cultural relic.
The peak of Qingshui Rock is 767 meters above sea level. The rock house is built on the mountain at 5 meters, backed by the lion-shaped Long Mai. The three peaks are arched and face deep valleys. Yanyu Pavilion stands at the foot of Pengshan Mountain, and strange rocks are scattered on the top of the mountain. It is one of the famous places of interest in southern Fujian and a provincial-level cultural relics protection unit.
