Wuling Mountain Scenic Area is located in the northwest of Xinglong County, Chengde City, surrounded by Beijing, Tianjin, Chengdu, Tang and Qin, and the traffic is very convenient. Wuling Mountain is the main peak of Yanshan Mountains, with an altitude of 2 1 18m. With a total area of 1.44 million hectares and a forest coverage rate of 76.2%, the park is a national nature reserve and a provincial forest park. Most of the peaks in the park are above 1.500 meters above sea level. The main landscapes are Ren Xian Pagoda, Lotus Pond, Taotao Peak, Qipanjing, Longtan Waterfall and Wuling Purple Stone.
The plants in the park belong to warm temperate deciduous broad-leaved forest, with dense forests, various species and extremely rich resources. Higher plants 1870 species have been listed as national protected plants 10 species, including rare wild flowers 178 species; Wuling Mountain, known as Yaoshan, has 903 kinds of traditional Chinese medicine plants. It is the northernmost limit of the natural distribution of monkeys. Wuling Mountain is rich in natural resources and superior in natural environment. The annual average temperature is 7.6℃, and the highest temperature in summer is 28℃.
