Why is the scenery of Longhu Mountain called Longhu Mountain?
Longhu Mountain was originally named Yunjin Mountain. According to the Records of the Dragon and Tiger Mountains, in the middle of the Eastern Han Dynasty, the first generation of Zhang Daoling led his disciples to Poyang, and entered Yunjin Mountain from (now Luxi), where Evonne was refined into a nine-day elixir. "After the elixir was made, Dragon and Tiger appeared, and this mountain became famous." From then on, Yunjin Mountain was renamed Dragon and Tiger Mountain, and Taoism entered the historical stage of China. Longhu Mountain has been known as "fairy city" and "the use of hundreds of gods" since ancient times. It is listed as the fifteenth cave and the thirty-second blessed land in Taoism, which contains rich cultural connotations. In addition to preaching and feathering in Sichuan in the first generation, the second generation and the late third generation, Shi Tian has been in Longhu Mountain for more than 60 generations, 1900 years. It is the Taoist school with the longest surname in China, and is called "Nanzhang () and Beikong ()". During the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, Longhu Mountain commanded Taoism in the south of the Yangtze River and became the spreading center of Taoism in China. The well-preserved Stone Tianfu Mountain of Longhu Mountain covers an area of more than 30,000 square meters, which is the place where Shi Tian lived and worshipped God in the past dynasties. Together with the Confucius House in Shandong, it is called the "two great houses" in China. The Great Shangqing Palace, which was awarded the title of "the place where all the gods were ordained" in history, is the place where Shi Tian ancestors practiced Buddhism, and it is also one of the largest and oldest Taoist temples in China. The town demon well, where the magic hall in the palace is located, is the birthplace of the 108th General of Water Margin.
