Brief introduction of Tang Lizi

Tang pear, also known as Du pear, is a deciduous tree with thorns on its branches. The plant height can reach about 10 meter, and the branches have thorns. Leaves rhombic to oblong, 4-8 cm long, 2.5-3.5 cm wide, petiole 2-3 cm long. Umbrella raceme, flowers 10- 15, white petals, 2-3 styles. The fruit is nearly spherical, with a diameter of 5- 10 mm and brown. It blooms in April and bears fruit in August-September. Li Tang seeds have strong adaptability, like light, cold tolerance, drought tolerance and waterlogging tolerance. Widely distributed in China, it is cultivated in North China, East China, Northwest China, the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and southeast China.
