"Jiutan gathers blessings, reserved for those who are destined."
The Guangdong Taoist Association was established in 1994, but no suitable place was found as the venue, which affected the work of the association. At that time, enthusiastic Taoists, leaders of the Provincial Taoist Association and relevant personnel went to Hong Kong Yuen Xuan College to visit Mr. Zhao Zhendong, the leader of the Hong Kong Taoist community, chairman of the Hong Kong Taoist Federation, and chairman of the board of directors of Hong Kong Yuan Xuan College, and talked about the venue and the difficulties encountered. , I hope Mr. Zhao will provide support. Taoism in Guangdong and Hong Kong is of the same origin, and the blood is as thick as water. Mr. Zhao has always been enthusiastic about Taoism and immediately agreed. It was already decided. From then on, Mr. Zhao climbed mountains, waded in rivers, and traveled extensively to find a location. Finally, he chose the geomantic treasure land of Jiutan Village in Huadu District. Yuen Yuen College is located in the Three Pools in Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong. As the saying goes, "Jiutan gathers blessings, reserved for those who are destined to be lucky." The lucky person is our Mr. Zhao. After settling on the site, Mr. Zhao devoted all his energy in his later years to the creation of Yuanxuan Taoist Temple. After careful planning, clever layout, and five years of construction, the first phase of a large-scale antique building "Yuanxuan Taoist Temple" was finally opened in 1998. It was completed on November 7, which solved the problem of the venue and laid a firm foundation for the development of Taoism in Guangdong Province.
