How did the Hong Ying Bridge in the Flower Hall of Shangrao County, Jiangxi Province come from?
Built 500 years ago. According to the person in charge of Huating Town Government, Hong Ying Bridge was built in the Ming Dynasty and has a history of nearly 500 years. In Fengling Village, Huating Town, there was a rich man named Yang in the Ming Dynasty. His family had hundreds of acres of fertile land, because every year, regardless of drought, flood or good weather, the harvest in the field was 9,999 stones, which was called "9,999" (9999). There is also a rich man named Wu in the village, whose family wealth is slightly less than his. The relationship between the two families is not very good at ordinary times, and there are often frictions. Once there is a small conflict, every time it is the rich man named Wu who suffers. The rich man surnamed Wu was very angry, so he hired a Feng Shui master and spent a lot of money to help him make money in an attempt to surpass Yang Dacai. After several days of unannounced visits, the Feng Shui master told the rich man named Wu that there was a screw-shaped stone at the entrance of Jintangwu in Fengling Village, and his business was booming, so he was the rich man, so he was far above him. If you want to surpass Yang Dacai and keep Yang Dacai from turning over, build a bridge at the entrance of Jintangwu, because the bridge looks like leeches, and leeches can nail screws. Upon hearing this, the rich man surnamed Wu immediately hired craftsmen to start work for several days and built a stone bridge, which he named "Hong Ying Bridge". The unusual behavior of the rich man surnamed Wu aroused Yang Dacai's vigilance. He hurriedly called his relatives and friends to work together and invited a Feng Shui master. The master told him that as long as two water rafts were built on the lion-shaped mountain next to the Yangjia ancestral temple, they could be cracked. Because building two rafts on one side of the lion-shaped mountain is a "double-lion bowling", Yang Dacai was ecstatic and immediately hired craftsmen to start building rafts overnight. Later, the stone bridge and the pheasant were repaired on the same day. As a result, the wealth of the rich man surnamed Wu failed to roll in as he hoped, but declined gradually. Finally, people had to move out of Fengling Village in Huating Town. Yang Dacai, on the other hand, earned a lot of money. In the second year, his income exceeded ten thousand stones, and Yang became the first surname of Fengling Village. Nowadays, with the changes of the times and the progress of history, the pheasant has been dismantled. The stone bridge in Jintangwu has been well preserved so far and has become a historical monument in Huating Town.
