36. Wangtao Township belongs to Wangtao Town, a township under the jurisdiction of Qinyuan County, Changzhi City, Shanxi Province. The original Wangtao Town is located in the northwest of Qinyuan County, Shanxi Province, adjacent to Chishiqiao Township in the east, Congziyu Township in the south, Jiexiu City in the west, and Wanghe Town in the county to the north. The area under its jurisdiction is full of mountains, criss-crossing ravines, dense forests, and vast grassy slopes. The Longfeng River runs through the entire township from north to south and flows into the Fen River from south to north. It has formed a unique and resource-rich township with trees on the mountains, grass on the slopes, coal underground, and water in the ditches. A survey by the local Qinyuan County government showed that there are 36 coal mines in Wangtao Town.
