Longchuan Square, located in the southwest corner of Jiangdu City, is an important part of the Yangtze River Scenic Area. This provincial-level first-class "city living room" with a total area of 6.5438+10,000 square meters, on the basis of functional division, embodies the essence of Longchuan culture as a whole and partially, aggregates the rich connotations of "dragon soul" and "Sichuan rhyme", integrates modern expression techniques, shows the harmonious unity between man and nature, and subtly reveals "dragon", "water" and "Sichuan rhyme"
There is a natural lying stone at the north main entrance of the sinking square, engraved with the words "Longchuan Square" inscribed by Shen Peng, chairman of the China Calligraphers Association. Water gushed out from under the stone, fell down the Longchuan layer by layer and poured into the Longchi in the center of the square.
There is a music fountain in Longchi, where you can enjoy the magnificent landscape naturally formed with the rhythm of music. Look at "Longtan" again. There are fountains everywhere. A flying dragon with a length of 2 1 m jumped out of the water. Its flamboyant posture and powerful strength indicate the rapid development of Jiangdu town in 2 1 century.
The music stand on the southwest side of the square can accommodate 1200 spectators, which is specially used for mass cultural performances or group activities. The design of the stage takes the circle as the theme, just like a pearl full moon, surrounded by a pool. Stand 16, the curved stand gathers into a piece of music with strong sense of rhythm. The whole stands are like mussels, and the stage is like pearls, which means "Jade mussels offer pearls" and the composition is perfect.
Yu Zhizhen and Liu's art museum is located in the southeast of the square, adjacent to the sightseeing pavilion. They are a combination of circular bodies and fan-shaped units, creating a novel and solemn exhibition space.
Green is the keynote of the square. The green area of the square is 70,000 square meters, with streamlined water ripple modeling, large green blocks, winding paths and secluded places, paved with granite and pebbles. More than 50 ancient and famous trees such as Cinnamomum camphora, Osmanthus fragrans and Photinia fragrans were transplanted/kloc-0, which formed a "natural, simple and lively" greening style and highlighted the characteristics of "the land of flowers and trees".
The night scene is novel, bright, soft and charming. There are 752 lights installed in the whole square, namely "coconut lamp", which is a simulated coconut tree during the day and brightly lit at night, adding a rich sense of color and three-dimensional layering to the square. The "fireworks lamp" similar to "starlight flashing" enhances the visual impact. Then, lawn lights, bionic courtyard lights and other light groups were scattered all over the place, making the whole square colorful under the light.
Longchuan Square is a sacred place for tourists to linger.
