1, water-soluble colored pencil:
It belongs to a kind of colored pencil and is a common painting tool in painting. After painting with white "water-soluble colored pen", it can produce ever-changing color effects by painting with water and brush.
Colors can be mixed to produce the same effect as watercolor, which is easier to master than watercolor, and watercolor is more difficult to draw in painting.
Paper with rough surface is a good choice for colored pencil drawing.
Water-soluble marker has clear color and strong adhesion. You can control the depth well as long as you apply force. They can be painted very deep or very shallow, and they can be dizzy with a brush dipped in water.
Make it similar to watercolor painting (watercolor painting). But to be honest, the effect is not as good as watercolor painting.
2, oily colored pencils:
Oily colored lead, the core is close to crayons, greasy and fragile.
Therefore, the general color will be lighter, but the transparency is high, and it also has a good performance when dealing with some special colors, and it is easy to overlap colors, and it is cheap, suitable for novices to practice color overlapping skills, and the eraser is easier to wipe.
Oily painting, shiny, but not too attached to paper, easy to fall off, getting lighter and lighter, but quite shiny, but not as black as water-soluble painting.
Suggestions for use
Characteristics of water-soluble colored lead: Watercolor effect after dipping in water, and the color of painting is naturally not heavy. It is easy to depict the details, which is very useful for shaping the five senses, hair and highlights of the characters.
Characteristics of oily colored lead: easy to superimpose colors, bright colors, moderate hardness of pens, and easy to color. But at the same time, there are some shortcomings, which can not depict very fine details, such as the skin texture and eye details of the characters. Because its colored lead is oily, it will feel like wax once it is colored, and it will be smooth and reflective.
Water-soluble colored pencils can be used as ordinary colored pencils, which have a similar watercolor effect after being smudged with water. Ordinary crayons can't achieve this effect, but it may take a little watercolor foundation to master it.
Generally, this painting needs absorbent paper, such as 160G sketch paper, which can meet this requirement. If you use watercolor paper, the texture may be too rough.
