Rocket pineapple, also known as red sword pineapple and tiger skin pineapple. It is a perennial evergreen herb. The basal rosette leaves are dark green with many purple-black horizontal stripes and beautiful colors. The top of the erect flower stem bears a bright red sword-shaped spike, which is like a flaming sword stabbing into the air. Bright red bracts are enduring and can be enjoyed for a long time.
