Fengmen Ancient Trail is one of the four major field gates in Sangpu Mountain. It was also an important passage in and out of Sangpu Mountain in ancient times and connected Fujian and Guangdong. This is the name and origin of Fengmen Ancient Trail. There is an ancient banyan tree next to Bo Ye Palace. It is said to have been planted by He Yeyun, a Feng Shui master from the Ming Dynasty who was famous in the Chaoshan Plain.
