Ming Taizu Mausoleum is located 7 kilometers southwest of the metropolis in Fengyang County, Chuzhou City, Anhui Province. The remains of Zhu Yuanzhang's parents, sister-in-law and nephew are buried in the mausoleum. As a part of imperial tombs of the ming and qing dynasties, 20 14 successfully applied for the World Cultural Heritage. According to the geomantic theory, a large number of buildings are cleverly placed underground through careful site selection. It is the product of human's transformation of nature, which embodies the traditional architectural and decorative ideas, and interprets the world outlook and power view of feudal China that lasted for more than 500 years.

Located on Chunde Mountain, 5 kilometers northeast of Zhongxiang City, Hubei Province, the Ming Mausoleum was founded in the 14th year of Ming Zhengde (15 19) and completed in the 45th year of Ming Jiajing (1566). It took 47 years to build. It is the tomb of Zhu Shiyuan, the father of Emperor Jiajing of Shizong of Ming Dynasty, and Zhang Sheng, the mother.
Covering area 183 hectares (1830,000 square meters).
Ming tombs are much smaller than Ming tombs.
