Aloe blossoms are actually quite common, like some varieties that are particularly easy to bloom, such as Aloe sinensis, Aloe Gleditsia, Aloe arborescens and so on. They will bloom after being raised for about 3 years at most, take out long foils from the axils of leaves, and then see strings of tubular orange-yellow or orange-red florets.
Whether to keep or remove the foil when aloe blooms mainly depends on the intensity of the subject's desire to enjoy the flower. Generally speaking, the soil where aloe is planted is fertile, so it is definitely no problem to support its normal flowering. If the subject has never seen aloe blossom, let it blossom and enjoy the flowers, and it is also possible to cut off the pedicel after all its flowers are fully open.
If the subjects have seen aloe blossom and think they are not beautiful (there is really nothing to look at, just like the day lily), then cut off the flower arrow directly, so as to avoid unnecessary nutrient consumption, make aloe grow stronger and generate produce more lateral buds. Aloe vera is also a succulent plant. We succulents are particularly resistant to the flowering of succulents, because most of them are unsightly, and flowering will consume a lot of nutrients to make succulents thin and ugly, so we usually pinch them off as soon as we see their foil, so if the subject doesn't want to see the flowers, don't think so much, and start quickly!
First of all, some people say that aloe blossom is a good omen. I planted a lot of aloe since I was a child, and I still remember it. At that time, I had been looking forward to aloe blossom, but I couldn't. I looked forward to it for about two years. Suddenly one day, I found one or two aloe flowers, which were beautiful. That was the first time I saw it blossom. Foils are extracted from the top of leaves or branches, and flowers are orange and scattered around the style.
Through our introduction, I believe everyone has a deeper understanding of whether it is better to keep the aluminum foil or remove it when aloe blooms.
