Jingbo Lake World Geopark is a national scenic spot and a provincial nature reserve. It is located in Ning 'an City (not in Harbin) in the southeast of Heilongjiang Province, in the middle and upper reaches of Mudanjiang, more than 80 kilometers away from Mudanjiang City, with an area of 1.400 square kilometers. It has become a scientific research base for Chinese and foreign geologists and geological enthusiasts to explore and study volcanic geology and geomorphology, and also a resort for people to spend the summer, relax and visit.

1, the main geological relics of Jingbo Lake

The Jingbo Lake Volcano Group had three overflow activities before 12000, 8300 and 5 140 years ago, and the lava ejected blocked the Gujiang Road in Mudanjiang, forming the largest volcanic lava barrier lake in the world. It has left a typical, rare, systematic and complete landscape of volcanic geological relics.

(1) Volcanic geological relics: crater, lava flow, lava tunnel, pyroclastic materials, volcanic rocks, etc.

(2) Geological relics of water landscape: Jingbo Lake, Diaoshuilou Waterfall, Xiaobei Lake, Dajing Lake, Yuanyang Lake and Zi Ling Lake.

2. The main cultural relics of Jingbo Lake.

There are nearly 10 ruins of primitive social villages such as Ying Ge Ridge, Songyiqiao Village, Houyu Village, Pearl Gate and Bohai Town. Bohai State, in particular, was a feudal local government established mainly by Mohong people in the prosperous Tang Dynasty, which created the famous "Haidong culture" and was called "Haidong wins the country" in history. There are ancient city wall sites such as Longquanfu, Lazi and Dashitouhezi in Shangjing, architectural sites such as Baihuadianzi, ancient tomb sites such as Dazhujiatun and Fengshuizi, and 1 ancient kiln site. The religious culture in the park is prosperous, including Xinglong Temple and Yamamoto Yeshou Ancient Temple. Among them, the stone lantern building of Xinglong Temple is a representative masterpiece of Buddhist stone carving art in Bohai Sea.

3. Important scenic spots in Jingbo Lake

Jingbo Lake was called Abu Lake in history, also known as Abulong Lake, and later renamed Erjinhai. In the first year of Kaiyuan (AD 7 13), Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty was called Hanhu, and Bilt Lake in the Ming Dynasty.
