What is "three religions and nine streams" and "five elements and eight merits"

Three religions

Three religions refer to three traditional religions-[1] Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism.

Confucianism

Confucianism is also called "Confucianism" and "Holy Religion" (Confucianism is not equal to Confucianism). Take "Confucianism" as the highest belief, and take "serving the world, serving the people, connecting the past with the future, and creating peace for all generations" as the ultimate goal. Later, it was different from Taoism, which advocated Taoist thoughts such as Huang Lao Lie Zhuang. Since the Northern and Southern Dynasties, it has been called Confucianism and Holy Religion, and it has been called the three religions together with Buddhism and Taoism. "Confucianism is the native religion of the Chinese nation [2]", Confucianism is the representative of ritual and music civilization and the direct successor of ancient religions.

"Confucianism is a unique traditional religion of the Chinese nation. All ethnic groups living in this ancient land of China, including ethnic minorities other than the Han nationality, such as Liao, Jin, Yuan, Xixia and Qing in the north, have always regarded Confucianism as the state religion and Confucius as the leader (this was unexpected before Confucius died, just as Laozi was regarded as a leader by Taoism, which was unexpected by Laozi). ..... Confucianism can take advantage of the integration of politics and religion to become the state religion, and the theocracy of Confucianism and imperial power are inseparable [3]. "

Taoism

Taoism regards "Tao" as the highest belief, the belief in immortals as the core content, the practice of alchemy as the way, and the ultimate goal of gaining Tao. It pursues natural harmony, national peace, social stability and family harmony, and believes that people in Xiu De can live a long and happy life, which fully embodies the spiritual life, religious consciousness and belief psychology of China people.

Buddhism

Buddhism is also one of the three major religions in the world, which refers to Buddhism introduced into China during the Eastern Han Dynasty. Buddha means "awakening". Buddha is also known as Tathagata, repentance, enlightenment, clear behavior, good death, worldly solution, supreme teacher, mediator, teacher of heaven and man, and Buddha. Buddhism attaches importance to the progress and consciousness of human mind and morality. The purpose of practicing Buddhism is to discover the truth of life and the universe according to Siddhartha's practice method, and finally transcend life and death and suffering, cut off all troubles and get relief.

Jiuliu

The so-called nine streams actually refer to the' upper, middle and lower' third class. The third of the three religions; Nature divides three times five into two.

As for the theory of "upper, middle and lower", it originated from Han Shu Literature and Art Annals. This paper divides the world theory into nine schools and ten schools.

In the Records of Han Shu Literature and Art, it refers to Confucianism, Taoism, Mohism, Legalism, Famous Scholars, Miscellaneous Scholars, Farmhouses, Strategists and Yin and Yang Scholars respectively. Nine schools and ten schools are novelists except nine schools.

Novelists meddle in entertainment. In ancient times, only those who were "unlearned", had no fame and fortune, and did not cultivate or weave would study it. To make a living from this, you often need to cater to others, which is close to flattery. Ancient material resources were extremely scarce, and novelists could not serve the society, so they were considered "dirty".

The reason why it is described as' flow' is actually compared to water in social form. Whether it is the change of mountains and rivers or the diversion of water veins, water has always obeyed the laws of nature, while still showing its own will. On the other hand, novelists tend to cater to readers.

However, the novelist's style and characteristics are unique. A lot of people have dabbled in it. As an ancient method of entertaining others, it is regarded as the "tenth largest family".

"Group, line and city" are mostly businesses, and "subdivision" is small-scale industries.
