Its convenient traffic conditions, rich natural resources, simple and rich local flavor and unique geographical advantages provide the source of life for the reform and development of the cemetery. Wollongong was originally named "Wang Baoling".
Harbin Wollongong Ecological and Humanistic Memorial Park belongs to Binxian Wollongong Cemetery Co., Ltd. and was built in 1995. It is a legal cemetery officially approved by the national civil affairs department. Approved by Binxian Industrial and Commercial Bureau 1997, it is open for business. It is a state-owned holding limited liability company. The park is located in the southeast of Harbin, about 45 kilometers away from Harbin, on the southwest slope of Wollongong Mountains.
The cemetery is surrounded by mountains on three sides and faces the water on one side. The unique water landscape has been praised by people in the industry as "a natural Long Mai with a treasure trove of geomantic omen". According to legend, in the first year of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty (that is, 7 13 AD), Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty made him king of the Bohai Sea, established the Bohai Sea and paid tribute to the Tang Dynasty every year. When the King of Bohai Sea went to pay tribute to the Tang Dynasty in, he sighed, "This ridge is like a dragon lying on the south rock of Songhua River, which is really outstanding."
Therefore, later generations renamed Wang Baoling Wollongong. There is a small river in front of the park, which is the boundary river between Bin County and Acheng. In order to increase the water landscape, on the basis of the original ideal pattern of mountain shape, topography and water body, in 2009, the park was able to invest in the construction of a large-scale "longtan lake" directly in front of it, which made the park truly have the pattern of "left green dragon, right white tiger, former suzaku and post-Xuanwu" and became a blessed place for the dead to rest in peace.
