Baoquan Temple is located in Qizhen Mountain (also known as Longquan Mountain) in Baofeng Town, Jinning County, Yunnan Province. It was built by the founder of Qingshan, the son of Yang Fu, a giant Buddha in Huizhou, Guangdong Province in the Ming Dynasty. Being regarded as the general trend, the Bodhisattva Huaying Dojo, known as the boundary of eight treasures, lives quietly. Yang is a layman, dismissed from office in his later years, and moved his family from Huizhou to Baofeng Town, Jinning County, Yunnan Province, and then moved to build a house and Jizu Mountain with his children. The next year, his people welcomed him back, and Ziqingshan returned to China with his father to build Baoquan Temple, which took seven years to complete. It was rebuilt in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty and in the thirty-ninth year of Guangxu. The incense lasted for hundreds of years, and its custom of welcoming Buddha was particularly grand. Every year, on the 16th day of the first lunar month, a temple fair is held to welcome the Buddha, with an unprecedented event of 10,000 people, which was destroyed after the war. In 2003, the monk Zhong Hua began to rebuild the temple. Shipai Building, Main Mountain Gate, Side Mountain Gate, Sengliao Courtyard, Jushiliao Courtyard, Living Room, Communication Room, Pu 'an Hall, East-West Wing, Zhangshi, Blissful Tower, Haihui Hall, Galapagos Hall, Tibetan Hall and Dragon King Hall have been built. Baoquan Temple has a quiet environment and mountains and rivers set each other off. It is really a beautiful place with nine peaks. The planned buildings include: Zhengshanmen, Pu An Hall, Liansheng Bridge, Release Pond, Tianwang Hall, Bell and Drum Tower, Pu Xian Hall, Daxiong Hall, Fatang Hall, Tibetan Scripture Building, Jinding Hall of Bodhisattva, Lion Cave, Abbot, Ancestral Hall, Tathagata stupa and East and West Monks.
