Do poets have anything to do with regional geomantic omen?

Looking at Mr. Wang's catalogue, there are three places where poets come forth in large numbers: Minhou (including Houguan, Minxian,), Xiangtan (including Xiangxiang) and Huiji (including Shangyu). Why are these places teeming with poets?
