The first person who came to Ganling was the Huang Chao Uprising Army in the late Tang Dynasty. He led 400,000 troops to dig Ganling, but more than half of Liangshan was dug, and he didn't dig Ganling either. He wanted the treasure, but he couldn't dig it.
Secondly, the second person who moved the tomb was Wen Tao, a famous grave robber and an envoy of the Five Dynasties. He dug as many as 17 imperial tombs, but stumbled among them. It is said that this is also the mystery of Ganling. Wen Tao led tens of thousands of people up the mountain to dig graves, but every time he went up the mountain, he was ready to start work, and it was stormy and thunderous. It happened three times in a row. Tao Wen is too scared to give up.
Third, Sun Lianzhong, the general of the modern national army, brought not hoes and axes, but artillery bombs. He wants to steal Dongling, just like Sun Dianying. Digging Ganling under the guise of an exercise, when he blew up the three-story stone fence with a bomb and prepared to go in, a thick smoke suddenly appeared in the cemetery and turned into a tornado. Suddenly it was dark and the rocks were flying. Four Shanxi soldiers were the first to bear the brunt and suddenly vomited blood. When others saw it, they dared not go forward any more, and they were so scared that they rolled and crawled.
In fact, far more than these people stole Ganling, but so many people stole Ganling for nothing. The reasons are also different, but the most mysterious is Feng Shui. It is said that after Li Zhi's death, Wu Zetian ordered Yuan Tiangang and Li to look for the treasure for him, and they were looking for the same place. In geomantic omen, the terrain of Ganling should be the complete combination of Yin and Yang, and the perfect cooperation between heaven and earth. It is the best treasure among all the emperors' tombs in the Tang Dynasty.
However, this statement is too mysterious. Later, archaeological experts showed that the stone in Ganling was too hard (I would rather believe it is mysterious, which is the same as not studying it). Later, Shaanxi Provincial Bureau of Culture proposed to excavate Ganling, but it was rejected by Premier Zhou Enlai. Premier Zhou said: "These things are left to future generations, and it is not too late to dig them after they have the ability to protect them. You can't make this decision just because you are curious! "
Therefore, it is no exaggeration to say that Ganling is more mysterious than the mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor.
