Speaking of Baishi Cliff, there is also one in Luanchuan, Luoyang. Today we walked into the Baishi Cliff in Xiahe River, Gannan, with an average height of 3.5m and a length of about 15km. To the west of the bottom of Baishi Cliff, there is a small A cave for three or four people to enter and exit. The cave is naturally formed, with gurgling water and winding paths. It is a good place for those who want to explore and seek excitement. You must be led by a lama when entering the cave. You must wear a headlamp or flashlight. Don't wear too good clothes. Some places require you to crawl to get through. Try to bring as little stuff as possible.
The cliff at Baishiya looks like the Great Wall of Despair, and when I saw this cliff, I thought of Tomb Raider Notes, and I always felt that there must be a big tomb here. Later, I asked the driver + Baidu and found out that various antiquities have been unearthed here. Baishi is not pure white, and may be named because of the contrast with the green of the grassland. Baishi Cliff runs east-west. From a distance, it looks like a white jade screen, horizontal in the air, shining under the blue sky and white clouds, which is spectacular. Standing under the white stone cliff, you can not only admire the majestic majesty of nature, but also feel the softness and moistness of nature.
Baishiya is at the foot of the silent Qilian Snow Mountain, a cave and cliff with few human traces. We stopped at the foot of the boundary mountain between Gansu and Qinghai provinces, staring at the vast mountains and eagles flying high in the sky or loitering on the plains. They are the eternal watchmen of the sacred mountain. They can reach heights and distances that human beings cannot reach. Standing in front of such vastness and solemnity, you can't help but bow your head silently, put your palms together, and lament the insignificance of human beings and the limitation of life.
Baishiya Karst Cave is a hidden cultivation cave. Very few tourists go here. The monk at the door said that now we can only go in 500 meters for the safety of tourists. If you want to enter a hole, it is best to wear thick clothes and not be afraid of getting dirty, because the only thing that can be used in the hole is a hemp rope hanging on the wall. In many places, you even need to use your hands and feet. Aka led the way and pointed out various miracles in the cave to us.
There is a place deep inside the cave where the stone wall looks like a human heart. There are blood vessels on it and it feels smooth. When I came out, I took another road. In some places, I had to squat down or else I couldn't get through it at all. In some places, I had to slide down slowly. In some places, it was easy to get stuck. I already regretted that my SLR was such a burden. Hold the strap in your mouth and slide it slowly with both hands supporting it. The caves here are worth exploring, they feel like a wonderland.
It is said that this cave can lead all the way to colleagues in Qinghai. We can only walk part of it. If we can't walk in the middle, we can turn back at any time. When we came back, we happened to meet a group of local people returning. They were all sweating and panting, which showed how difficult it was to climb inside. Because the cave is intricate and slippery, there are no more photos to show you, but I’m afraid you won’t know the feeling until you go there. It must be an extremely special fate that allowed me to fly across half of China, from the southeast coast, deep into the hinterland of Tibet, to Gannan in Shambhala, Tibet, to meet you.
Baishiya/Baishiya Cave is about an hour's drive from Xiahe County. It is said to be the place where living Buddhas of all ages practiced practice. Tibetans from the local area and surrounding areas will come to this cave to meditate or kowtow to pray for blessings. Stone cliffs suddenly grow on the grassland, which are very strange and impressive. On the other side of Baishi Cliff is Qinghai. I went there in July, during the rainy season. The sky was a little cloudy and the clouds were thick. I couldn’t see clearly the Baishi Cliff in the distance, but soon the clouds cleared and the fog dispersed, and the scenery under the sun Baishi Cliff is beautiful, but it’s a pity that I couldn’t take pictures of it all from the car.
Baishiya is not so much a mountain as it is a row of solid and thick stone walls, like a giant city wall built by God. In order to protect this pure land, it looks majestic and majestic from a distance, especially from Sang. As we pass through the grassland, it feels like the White Rock Cliff is getting closer and closer. In principle, Baishiya includes Baishiya Temple and Baishiya Cave. Generally, only Baishiya Cave is visited. Baishiya Temple is a monastery of the Gelug sect of Tibetan Buddhism.
Standing under the white stone cliff, you can not only admire the majestic majesty of nature, but also feel the softness and moistness of nature. The small Baishiya Temple under the Baishi Cliff has a big background. It was built on the Baishi Cliff Mountain and is quite impressive. Because it is recognized as the palace of Shengle Buddha (similar to the Feng Shui treasure land mentioned by the Han people), it is a place that believes in Tibetan Buddhism. Before people go to worship at the three major temples in Lhasa, they must first come to Baishiya Temple to worship Buddha. It is a famous Tibetan Buddhist practice holy place in Amdo District.
Although the temple cannot be self-sufficient, it can still form a relatively closed ecological circle.
Below the temple is a Tibetan village, which is a typical social form of the district. Tibetans worship the temple, and each family has at least one male monk who becomes a lama. The inheritance of the temple continues, and the temple feeds back the Tibetan people, making the Tibetan people's spirit Faith never ceases. Looking back, Baishi Cliff becomes more and more majestic, and time seems to have stopped flowing here.
Baishiya is located in the secret land of Ganjia in Gannan. It is now an open-access attraction. The significance of Baishiya in Ganjia is not only to bring visual changes to the grassland, but more importantly, from the cave The spring water flowing out is the lifeblood of Ganga, giving birth to this vast and beautiful Feng Shui treasure land. I didn’t know that this mountain spring had been flowing for hundreds of years! Baishiya is not white, so why does it have this name? Perhaps it was someone standing in front of a stone cliff on a winter day that was as white as snow, and felt inexplicably filled with emotion? Perhaps, the reason why Baishi Cliff is called "White" is because it is compared with the green grassland.
