14 floor Why 18 floor is not easy to sell?

Because of the folk customs in China since ancient times, many people still believe some data or events like good or bad luck.

Houses carry a lot of weight in people's minds. Some people think that the "quality" of a house determines the safety, wealth and health of a family and even the next three generations. So many people are shy about some numbers.

The reason why the 14 and 18 floors of commercial housing are difficult to sell is mainly because the homonyms of "14" and "18" are unlucky, and the pronunciation of "four or ten" is similar to "death", so many people are reluctant to choose this one if they have a choice.

However, people who are shy about the numbers on these floors are generally middle-aged and elderly people. They are deeply influenced by feudal culture and care too much about some folk customs. Therefore, when buying a house, such groups are more resistant to these floors.

Although young people don't pay much attention to these, those elders will raise objections more or less, which will affect the choice of young people and the sale of commercial housing.

This has become a common behavior, so some real estate developers try their best to dispel people's encouragement and taboos in order to sell houses on these floors faster, for example, by reducing prices and other marketing means to stimulate consumers' desire to buy. This is also reasonable. After all, the purchase of commercial housing is a kind of commercial behavior, and whether to buy, how to buy and what to buy are all active behaviors of property buyers.

Some developers even tampered with the buttons on the stairs. For example, the button on the 14 floor is written as "13A", and the button on the 18 floor is changed to "17A", so as to offset people's worries and make buyers no longer resist because of bad luck.

In my opinion, this practice is a bit "worse", but it makes people pay more attention to the unlucky phenomenon behind it. There is a kind of "shattered glass" stupidity. As the saying goes, "faith is nothing." For those who don't care about or despise these cultural dross, the point is not here at all, and they don't care about the bad things brought by 14 and 18. If some people avoid these things, they will always care no matter how you hide them.

In fact, many communities have rarely seen this situation now. I believe that in the near future, people will not follow the trend at all, but believe that they are the ones who control their own destiny, not the number of floors.

Of course, there are not only numbers hidden on the floor, but also other aspects, such as license plate and mobile phone number. People try to avoid choosing numbers like "4" and "10", while other numbers including "6" and "8" sell well and many people choose them.

All these are related to the cultural and folk customs that have continued in China for thousands of years, and it is difficult to change people's ideas for a while. Do it if you like it, and choose to change if you don't like it. These have little impact on life and are not worthy of too much attention.
