Moral education book records

According to the introduction of the book "The Origin of Moral Education" published by Zizhen Pavilion in Thailand, "the whole history of modern moral education began in the year of Jiazi (1924); 1939, the first church in Germany, Zixiangge, was established in Chaoyang, China, which laid the foundation for the organizational model and expansion mode of German churches today. " Willow branches in sand table, also known as Hua Fu, use willow branches to draw characters on sand table, which is a kind of Taoist witchcraft and is generally regarded as a superstitious activity. Perhaps for this reason, moral education was no longer mentioned after the liberation of Chaoshan.

However, from the perspective of religion and culture, moral education is indeed a comprehensive and open religion. As for the objects of worship, the leaders of the five major religions (Confucianism, Taoism, Buddhism, Yehui, and Hui), the immortals in Taoist genealogy, and the gods in Chaoshan folk beliefs are all objects of worship, and you can respectfully come and give directions. For example, when asking for a disease, the master and Taoist Baiyun come to give directions, and Feng Shui has Yang and He; When turning over, there was Guanyin Bodhisattva and Dafeng founder; When chanting, there are living buddhas to help the public and educate Confucius. In a word, I'm afraid I can't do it, and I'm afraid I'll never think of it.

Among these gods, the highest god is not the Jade Emperor, but Guan Shengdi. The statement that the Jade Emperor resigned and Guandi reached the peak in Jiazi actually came from a pamphlet called "Dong Ming Bao Ji" in the 1920s. The acceptance of this statement in moral education may be related to the fact that most believers are businessmen, because Guandi is also regarded as the god of wealth by the business community.

The purpose of moral education is to "teach people by virtue and accumulate virtue to do good". A few years ago, institutions such as Ziqing Pavilion and Zihe Pavilion were established in Shantou, as well as good churches and schools, which are very similar to the ancestral temple in Dafeng. From 65438 to 0947, it spread to Thailand and established the Chenzi Pavilion. 1952 was introduced to Singapore and Malaysia, and soon Taiwan Province Province, Japan, the United States and Australia also had their traces. To sum up, there are more than 200 German educational institutions in the world today, with Malaysia accounting for about half and Thailand accounting for one third. These organizations can adhere to their purpose and do good deeds extensively, so they are welcomed by Chinese in their host countries and overseas.
