Composition of water cooling system of diesel generator: The main components of diesel generator that need cooling, including cylinder liner, cylinder head and lubricating oil, are directly cooled with water, which is called water-cooled diesel generator. Water-cooled diesel engine needs very complicated cooling water circulation system (such as water tank, water pipe, fan, radiator, water pump and temperature controller).
2. Air cooling system of diesel generator. The air-cooled system uses high-speed airflow to blow directly on the cylinder head and the outer surface of the cylinder, radiating the heat inside the cylinder to the atmosphere, and ensuring the generator to work in the most favorable temperature range. The cylinder and cylinder head of diesel generator are made of aluminum alloy, which has good heat transfer performance. In order to increase the thermal area, each cylinder is usually manufactured separately. Many evenly arranged fins are distributed on the surface of the cylinder and cylinder head to increase the heat dissipation area, and heat is blown into the atmosphere by using the high-speed airflow when the engine is running. Because the diesel generator has high power and needs a lot of heat to be cooled, the axial flow fan with high power and large flow rate is used to strengthen the cooling of the diesel engine. In order to effectively utilize the airflow and ensure the uniform cooling of each cylinder, the diesel generator is equipped with a guide cover, a splitter plate and a cylinder liner guide plate. Compared with water-cooling system, air-cooling system has the advantages of simple structure, light weight, few faults and no need for special maintenance. However, it is rarely used at present due to the disadvantages of high material, uneven cooling and high working noise, but it is widely used in construction machinery and agricultural equipment.
