Climatic characteristics
Shiwan Mountain is an important climate dividing line in southern Guangxi. Fangcheng Autonomous County on the south slope is located in the windward slope and uplift zone of the mountain, with abundant precipitation. For example, Sona's annual precipitation is as high as 3,700 mm, which is the largest in Guangxi.
On the other hand, Shangsi and Ningming counties on the northern slope are located on the leeward slope, with less annual precipitation.
