"Sansheng Temple" is surrounded by mountains on three sides and water on one side, with convenient transportation. You can take the 10 bus from Kaili city directly to the front of the temple. Due to its long history, quiet environment and outstanding people, there are an endless stream of pilgrims who come to visit Sansheng Temple, reaching 1800 on October 29th of the lunar calendar. It is said that the peak reaches 2500 people a day. "Sansheng Temple" is one of the famous Buddhist monuments in Kaili. It is the only one of the original seven ancient temples in Kaili City, and has a deep "feeling" with the lay people in Kaili City. Therefore, the "Three Saints Temple" has always been the first choice for devout worshippers to worship and visit. The layman introduced to Wan Ying that the "Sansheng Temple" in Kaili and the famous Hanshan Temple in Suzhou were built at the same time, three years earlier than Hongfu Temple in Guiyang. The name of "Sansheng Temple" was changed in 1955 by Master Huihai, then president of the Buddhist Association of the province, and it has been burning incense continuously and prospering in history. During the "Cultural Revolution" period, it was once regarded as the "four old houses", and all the furnishings in the temple were destroyed, leaving only one empty room, which became a place for raising cattle and ducks. After the reform and opening up, the party's ethnic and religious policies have been seriously implemented. 1 month 1994, the Kaili Municipal People's Government held a special meeting and decided that, in view of the fact that the original temples in Kaili City have been demolished and there are no venues for activities at present, according to the relevant policies and regulations, it was agreed to use the "Sansheng Temple" (Sanyuan Palace) in Longtou River as the venue for religious activities in Kaili City. In 2000, after a period of restoration and preparation, "Sansheng Temple" was officially opened to welcome guests, and pilgrims from Fujian, Hongkong, Macau, Taiwan Province and other places came to worship. At present, thousands of pilgrims come to worship and visit every month. There is also a mysterious legend in Sansheng Temple: It is said that one day when a Buddhist came to Sansheng Temple for sightseeing and entered the Manjusri Bodhisattva Hall of Sansheng Temple with pious feelings, he was surprised to find that Manjusri Bodhisattva was winking at her. In fact, as early as the day before, Manjusri Bodhisattva had already sent a message in tears, but Buddhists didn't know that she had a deep relationship with Buddhism. After only a few steps, a miracle suddenly appeared: Manjushri's head somehow fell off. First it hit the incense burner, then it bounced back and landed in front of her. When the layman saw it, he immediately knelt down ... "Why did Manjushri shed tears and why did its head fall?" These legends add to the mystery.
"Sansheng Temple" is located in Longtou River, Kaili City, in the upper reaches of Qingshui River, and is the west gate of Kaili City. The clear and long Qingshui River is like a dragon. After bypassing Kaili for a week, they meet here and then flow to Dongting Lake, hence the name Longtou River. The main rivers and mountains have strange shapes. There is a big mountain on the river bank, which looks like a sitting big-bellied arhat, and the hills on the right also look like a few small arhats. On top of these little arhats, there is a giant Buddha lying on his back, lifelike. Therefore, the locals call Longtou River a treasure trove of geomantic omen. According to Li Fanyu, a citizen of Kaili, there used to be many heroes, sons and daughters and celebrities in Qingshui River Valley where Longtou River is located, such as the famous anti-hero, Dong Uprising leader Jiang, revolutionary martyr Long Avenue, patriotic general Wang Tianpei and PLA general Yang Zhicheng, etc. After liberation, eight ministerial-level senior officials were born in Qingshui River Valley. "Sansheng Temple" is located in the upper reaches of Qingshui River, and its heyday can be imagined. It has become a common place for local people to spend their leisure after dinner. The "Three Saints Temple" has always been the place where lay people live. They adhere to the tenet of taking Zen as their home, discipline as their behavior and pure land as their home. Mass learning and mass sharing are karma. At present, the "Sansheng Temple" in Kaili is planning to build buildings such as the Ten Thousand Buddha Pagoda and the Ursa Major Hall. It is believed that in the near future, the "Three Holy Temples" will be presented to people with a brand-new look.
