As the first batch of 4A-level tourist attractions in China, the Qing Dongling was rated as 5A-level again last year. As the largest imperial mausoleum group in the past dynasties, there are countless people buried in it, including five emperors such as Shunzhi, two most famous empresses Xiao Zhuang and Cixi in the Qing Dynasty, as well as emperors, concubines and children, *** 16 1 person.
We can see that the layout of the whole Qing Dongling is centered on the Xiaoling Mausoleum in Shunzhi, and other mausoleums are distributed on the left and right sides. The whole layout is like a fan, following the principle of centering first. This treasure trove of geomantic omen was chosen by the young emperor during the reign of Shunzhi, the first emperor of Qing Dynasty. There are different opinions in history about why he chose this place as the base for 10 thousand years.
However, many historical materials in the Qing Dynasty did not explain in detail the reasons for the location of the Qing Dongling Mausoleum. They only recorded that the emperor shunzhi happened to pass by and was shocked by the scenery here, so he felt that there was aura here, so he decided to set the mausoleum here. Moreover, the Mausoleum of the Qing Dynasty is very close to the royal hunting grounds, and it is convenient for the emperor to enter and leave. It is also said that it is impossible for an emperor to choose a tomb after death so casually. The location of tombs in the eastern part of the Qing Dynasty must have been carefully considered, and geomantic omen is the most important. However, there is nothing wrong with it. Changrui Mountain is the backing of the Qing Dongling, and Zhong Xiaoling is located at the main peak of Changrui Mountain. The mountains, rivers and buildings of the whole Qing Dongling can be unified with each other, and it is indeed a "treasure land" in terms of geomantic omen.
Among the many sayings, one is very interesting: the Qing Dongling was given by Cheng Zu of the Ming Dynasty. It is said that the Ming emperor Judy initially chose this place, but in the end he changed his position. Later, Emperor Chongzhen also chose this land of geomantic omen, and soon an uprising broke out. He died in Jingshan Park and could not be buried in the end.
After the death of Shunzhi, Kangxi established the Xiaoling Mausoleum in Changrui Mountain according to his father's wishes, and later emperors Kangxi, Qianlong, Xianfeng and Tongzhi also built it here. Finally, the Ding Dong Mausoleum of Cixi was built, and the construction of the Qing Mausoleum lasted for 247 years. It can be said that it witnessed the whole process of the Qing Dynasty from prosperity to decline. Those who once played an important role in the history of qing dynasty are lying here, waiting for the baptism of time and the evaluation of history.
