Longchuan is the ancient name of Kengkou Village. There is Longxu Mountain in front of the village and a stream in the village. Later generations thought that the stream (also known as the pithead) flowed into the Dengyuan River, and the dragon could open the stream, so it was changed to the pithead. This legend is still circulating among the people. It is about 10 km away from Jixi County, and it is an ancient Huizhou village. Due to the special geographical environment and long historical and cultural origins, it has formed its unique natural and cultural landscape, and is now a historical and cultural protection zone in Anhui Province.
2. Taiji Lake Village
In Jixi, the word "primitive simplicity" appears most frequently, and the place where local residents say it most is Taiji Lake Village. Approaching Taiji Lake Village, we felt "hiding in the boudoir" and marveled at the beauty brought by this ancient town. Taiji Lake Village surrounded by Yin and Yang has a unique natural environment. Yuanxi River flows southward in an "S" shape around the village, forming a natural "Tai Chi" landform with the villages in the west and the fields in the east. Huizhou also has three unique water outlets: "the lion closes the door, the sun and the moon close, and the tortoise and snake block the water", which makes feng shui experts marvel! With the changes of history and man-made coincidence, the magical "imperial tomb" reappeared. Taiji Lake Village is a key historical and cultural protection area in Anhui Province and an important inheritance area of world intangible cultural heritage.
3. Shuimo Tingxi Scenic Area
Shuimotingxi Scenic Area is located 35 kilometers south of Xuanjing Highway, which is winding and full of mountain roads. It can be regarded as a "boudoir" scenic area with few tourists. The whole scenic spot is a canyon, dominated by primitive natural scenery. Along the way, flowing bamboo forests and waterfalls can be seen from time to time, and recreational facilities such as rafting and paragliding are also available, which is suitable for weekend leisure travel.
