Do magpies nest at home?

Magpies get two or three nests at the same time when they build nests every year. When there is an accident, they will move to other nests, and they will not move when there is no accident. Magpies built a nest in your house, but they didn't stay. It's possible that this is just their spare nest. Now it's time for magpies to hatch young magpies. If someone digs out their own nest, they won't go back to that nest, but live in a spare nest, and they may return to your nest. There is also the possibility of returning to your nest next year.
