On weekends in early winter, the sunny weather is more suitable for going out for fun. This weekend we took a self-driving trip to Mingguang!
1. Lindong Reservoir
Lindong Reservoir is located in Guandian Town, Mingguang City. Belonging to the Chihe River system of the Huaihe River Basin, it provides irrigation water for 48,600 acres of farmland in four towns: Zhaoxin Town, Mingdong Township, Shiba Town, and Guandian Town. It is a comprehensive complex mainly focusing on irrigation, flood control, breeding, and urban water supply in Mingguang Town. Utilize key medium-sized reservoirs. Over the years, it has played a great role in agricultural harvest, aquaculture, urban water supply, and downstream flood control safety.
2. Mingguang Fushan
Fushan’s name is Linhuai Mountain, also called Fuyu Mountain. According to "Taiping Huanyu Ji": "Linhuai Mountain, overlooking Changhuai. There are water caves at the foot of the mountain. When the Huai River floods, the caves are high; when the water decreases, the caves are still low. It looks like a floating mountain, and it is also called Fushan." At the foot of the mountain. It is an ancient crossing point on the Huaihe River, an important water and land transportation hub, and a battleground for military strategists of all ages. 3. Yuelong Lake Scenic Area
Yuelong Lake, known as the Thousand Island Lake in Eastern Anhui Province, was formerly known as Fenshuiling Reservoir. The incoming water area is 113 square kilometers, the total designed storage capacity is 72.67 million cubic meters, the Xingli storage capacity is 49 million cubic meters, and the surrounding length is about 60 kilometers. The lake is open, with thousands of acres of water rippling with blue waves, and the lake is crystal clear. It is surrounded by Laojia Mountain, Zhongjia Mountain, Baiyun Mountain, Xingshan, Wushan and Jiashan plateau pastures. There are many islands in the waters and the natural scenery is pleasant.
