Hubei Shennongjia World Geopark is a typical comprehensive geological park with structural landform and ecology. Located in the southwest of Shennongjia forest region in Hubei Province, with a total area of 1022.72km2, it consists of five parks: Shennongding Park, Guanmenshan Park, Tian Yan Park, Dajiuhu Park and Laojunshan Park. Huanggang Dabie Mountain World Geopark is located in Huanggang City, northeastern Hubei Province, at the southern foot of Dabie Mountain, on the north bank of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, with a total area of 2625.54km2 As an important part of the geological-geographical-ecological-climatic boundary line of the central mountain system in China, Huanggang Dabie Mountain World Geopark has preserved the multi-stage metamorphism and deformation caused by the earth's evolution since Archean, and has rich and diverse geological relics of magmatic activity, which is of global comparative significance. It integrates "peaks, forests, ponds and waterfalls" in one place and integrates religious culture, folk customs, history and humanities. In Shiyan City, northwest Hubei Province, there is a famous Taoist mountain-Wudang Mountain, which is a national geological park in Hubei Province. It is bordered by Bashu in the west, Jingchu in the east, Shennongjia in the south and Yushan in the north, covering an area of 3 12 square kilometers, and governs five parks, namely Jinding, Nanyan, Taizipo, Wulonggong and Xuanyue Lake. Wudang Mountain is one of the famous Taoist shrines in China, and its ancient buildings were listed in the United Nations World Cultural Heritage List in 1994. Wudang Mountain is backed by Shennongjia's vast virgin forest and faces Danjiangkou Reservoir. This mountain is mainly composed of Paleozoic phyllite, slate and schist, and some granite. Rock joints develop and rise along the old fault line, forming cliff landforms with many cliffs. These unique geological structures were formed 654.38+0.3 billion years ago and are one of the most important physical specimens for studying the tectonic-sedimentary evolution of Qinling fold system.

Hubei Changyang Qingjiang National Geopark takes the east-west geological corridor Qingjiang main stream as the main line, and connects Wulong Zhonglishan Park and Xianglushi Park in series, forming the overall layout of "one corridor and two parks", which belongs to a large-scale geological park with karst landform. It shows the evolution of crust and environment, vicissitudes of life and the mystery of river formation in southern China since 800 million years ago. Hubei Yunxian dinosaur egg fossil group National Geopark is located in Qinglong Mountain, Liubei Town, Yunxian County, Shiyan City, Hubei Province. The park is famous at home and abroad for its concentrated distribution, huge quantity, complete preservation and shallower burial than dinosaur eggs. The dinosaur egg around Qinglong Mountain in the park covers an area of 4.2 square kilometers, and rich dinosaur eggs have six spawning layers. According to experts' research, there are 5 families, 7 genera 1 1 species of dinosaur eggs, belonging to the late Cretaceous period from about 67 million years ago to1350,000 years ago. There are more than 2000 dinosaur eggs exposed on the ground in the park. The distribution of fossils basically preserved the original form of dinosaur nesting at that time, and it was an important place to study the rise and fall of dinosaurs, climate change and geological changes.

7. Tenglongdong Grand Canyon Geopark in Enshi, Hubei Province

Tenglongdong Grand Canyon Geopark in Enshi, Hubei Province is China National Geopark, which is located in Lichuan City and Enshi City, and belongs to geological and geomorphological Geopark with an area of 223.94 square kilometers. It extends 48.37 kilometers along the east-west direction of Qingjiang River Valley, with Qingjiang River Valley and Qingjiang Undercurrent as the central axis and 5-8 kilometers wide from north to south. Hubei Mulan Mountain National Geopark is located in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, with an area of 340 square kilometers, with Mulan Mountain Scenic Area as the core, covering five towns in the north of Huangpi, belonging to the transitional zone between the southern foot of Dabie Mountain and Jianghan Plain. Its main peak Mulan Mountain consists of two mountains, with an altitude of 582.438+0 meters. There are widely distributed and well-preserved geological relics such as blue schist and red curtain stone. In 2005, Mulan Mountain was rated as a national geological park. Known by geological experts as the golden key to solve the central orogenic belt in China, it is an important base for geological research and popular science tourism. The unique geological process and geographical location have created the beautiful natural scenery of Mulan Mountain.

9. Hubei Wufeng National Geopark

Hubei Wufeng Geopark is a national geological park, located in Wufeng Tujia Autonomous County in southwest Hubei Province. 201/kloc-0 officially became a provincial-level geological park in April, and now it has become a national-level geological park. From east to west, the park is divided into Chaibuxi scenic spot characterized by karst canyon landform; White deer scenic spot featuring karst landform; Baiyicun Scenic Area, which is characterized by structural landforms and karst landforms; Houhe Scenic Area is characterized by structural landforms and primitive ecology. Five scenic spots, such as Wantan Scenic Area, which is characterized by surface karst landform. Yuan 'an Fossil Group Provincial Geopark ranks third in the province and first in the city. Its core areas are Yingzishan in Mingfeng Town, Mao Ping Village in maoping town and Zhangjiawan in Hekou Township. The surrounding areas include Ming Fengshan, Liupanshan, Jinjiawan, Taiqing Cave, Guanyin Cave and Mahuipo. The extended areas include the Sinian cornerstone of Hehua Town, the rock collapse of Yanchi River, Wangjiaguaipo, Linglongxia drifting, the Changdayan virgin forest in Mao Ping, and the Zhangmu flower house in Hekou Township.
