Bagua Diagram

< p>Bagua diagrams can be divided into "innate" and "acquired". Generally, the innate Bagua diagrams are the body, and the acquired Bagua diagrams are the functions. Configurations such as the Heavenly Stems, Earthly Branches, and Five Elements are all based on the Eight Diagrams of the Later Heaven as background reference.

The Xiantian Bagua Diagram, also known as the Fuxi Bagua Diagram, uses Qiankun to represent the positioning of heaven and earth, forming the central axis of longitude; Kanli represents water and fire as the boundary, as the horizontal axis of latitude. The yin and yang lines of the two relative hexagrams are opposite, forming wrong hexagrams. The innate Bagua numbers are: Qian 1, Dui 2, Li 3, Zhen 4, Xun 5, Kan 6, Gen 7, Kun 8.

The Houtian Bagua Diagram is also called the Wenwang Bagua Diagram, with the Zhen Gua as the starting point and located due east. In a clockwise direction, they are Xun Gua, southeast; Li Gua, due south; Kun Gua, southwest; Dui Gua, due west; Qian Gua, northwest; Kan Gua, due north; Gen Gua, northeast. If it symbolizes solar terms, Zhen is the spring equinox, Xun is the beginning of summer, Li is the summer solstice, Kun is the beginning of autumn, Dui is the autumnal equinox, Qian is the beginning of winter, Kan is the winter solstice, and Gen is the beginning of spring. The acquired Bagua numbers are: Kan 1, Kun 2, Zhen 3, Xun 4, Zhong 5, Qian 6, Dui 7, Gen 8, and Li 9.

"He Tu" and "Luo Shu"

The design idea is: Xiang function number is used to represent the image. It consists of 10 natural numbers from 1 to 10, simulating celestial phenomena. The elephant is divided into four directions: left, east, right, west, up, south, and down. The numbers are calculated in dots: the white dots are odd numbers, or heaven numbers, representing yang; the black dots are even numbers, or earth numbers, representing yin. The points are numbered from bottom to top, left, middle and right, from 1 to 10 in order of the inner and outer layers. The difference between the number of heaven and earth in each direction is 5, and the sum of the number of sky and earth is 25, and the sum of the number of earth and sky is 30, and the difference is also 5.

"Luoshu" consists of 9 natural numbers from 1 to 9, which is like a large geographical map. The odd numbers are listed on the four sides and in the center, and the even numbers are listed on the four corners. The numbers on opposite sides of the whole picture add up to 10, and the sum of the numbers in the center is 15. The concepts such as directions and seasons they represent are the same as those in "River Map", but they are more subdivided.
