In the hundreds of millions of rays of light, he met the Monkey King and his neighbors. The walker salutes upwards, and the Buddha returns. In the Journey to the West, in addition to the Buddha at the beginning of the century, this Taiyi Buddha is the savior. The Jade Emperor is the head of the Buddha and is called the Giant Buddha. It can be seen that Qitian has a high position in heaven. But Qi Tian went to the west but didn't get such treatment. Tathagata: No, I didn't meet him at Lianhuatai, and neither did other Buddhists. I won't meet him at Lianhuatai.
Two people a few commonplaces, the Monkey King get down to business. Hearing this, the Tathagata even called out the lion slave in the lion room to ask. The lion slave was sleeping soundly, and was woken up by everyone and dragged to the central temple to meet him. Buddha said, where are the lions and beasts? The slave cried and kowtowed, only teaching: spare my life, spare my life! Buddha Sun Shengda is here. If he wins, I won't hit you Tell me why you don't. I don't want to leave Nine Lions. Grandpa Niu Dao saw a bottle of wine in Daqian's Ganlu Palace the day before yesterday. I ate it secretly. I fell asleep unconsciously, lost my lock and left. Buddha said that the wine was sent by the old gentleman. It's called reincarnation, and it takes three days to drink. A day in heaven is a year on earth. Get up, forgive your death, and come with me and the Great Sage to collect him. Go back to all your immortals, Don. I don't understand. It can be seen from the dialogue between Taiyi's rescue of Buddha and the lion slave that Taiyi's rescue of Buddha is very confident in appeasing nine lions, so the lion slave does not need the help of his entourage.
Master, one is the first two. The process of nine lions being taken in is very simple, but it is very bumpy. After nine lions in the Monkey King was lured out, the Buddha read a spell and shouted, Yuan Shenger, I'm coming. The devil knows that this is his master, so he dare not take out the money without me. He knelt on the ground and kowtowed. I ran past the lion slave, grabbed my hair, hit my head with my fist, scolded me, you beast, how to steal and teach me to suffer. The lion and the beast are speechless and dare not shake. When the lion was trapped, he just stopped. He was about to put the cymbals on him when the Buddha rode a horse and shouted to teach him to go away. He drove the colorful clouds towards Miao Yan Palace. Before Taiyi saves the suffering Buddha and comforts the Nine Lions, there is a standard action, that is, chanting a spell. Before taking over Qingniu Jing, Tailaojun said a spell and slapped himself several times. It can be seen that the spell is the standard password for these immortals to drive mounts. This is tailor-made for the mount. Just like the voice-activated electronic system of driverless cars, you need to enter the correct password to make them go and stop.
Judging from the fact that Taiyi lion slave rescued the suffering Buddha and beat the Nine Lions in public, the status of the Nine Lions is extremely low, and there is no dignity at all. The relationship with the Buddha lion slave is not good, and the feelings are very cold. Compared with the old gentleman and his green cow, it is a world of difference. Tailaojun Qingniu is his life and death companion and partner. That year he rode a horse on Huaguan Lake in Hangu, so he was deeply touched. However, Taiyi's rescue of Buddha and Nine Lions have no feelings, that is, the relationship between master and mount. There is only one explanation for this situation, that is, Nine Lions is a miraculous monster that Taiyi surrendered in order to save the Buddha from suffering, and the time is not long. Just like the black bear spirit and Hong Haier appeased by Guanyin. So the lion slave and the nine lions have no feelings at all.
So what is the origin of the Nine Lions? This can be seen from his other names, Jiuling and Shengyuan. Nine represents the extreme number, for example, the ninth five-year plan is the emperor. For example, Yuan means the first year, and the National Day of the New Year is the first day of the year. I dare say that the nine yuan in the Taoist system is actually similar to the Monkey King's claim to be the Monkey King. Only the Monkey King beat the Jade Emperor and the Nine Lions beat the Taoist of Sanqing. But unfortunately, both of them were suppressed. The Monkey King was suppressed by the Tathagata of Buddhism, and nine lions was suppressed by the Taiyi Buddha of Taoism. So what did the Nine Lions do that was suppressed? The Buddha who helped the poor once boasted to the gods that my Shengyuan was also a true god who had been practicing for a long time. A cry, up to the three sages, down to Jiuquan, idleness, does not hurt life. There are different views on Amitabha and Guanyin Bodhisattva. Three Sages of the East: Pharmacist Liuli Guangfo, Sunlight Bodhisattva and Moon-watching Bodhisattva. Sakyamuni Buddha, avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, and Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. According to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in The Journey to the West, the three saints should be the three saints in the West: Amitabha, Guanyin Bodhisattva and Megatrend Bodhisattva. Jiuquan is the underworld, and the people in the underworld are the earth treasure king and bodhisattva. In other words, Nine Spirits, Shengyuan, Tathagata and Three Bodhisattvas are closely related, in other words, they are very close to the paradise in the west.
Then a clue came out. Nine lions practice Taoist kung fu, but he goes to the west. Seeing that he was a talented person, the Buddha wanted to win him over and make him a saint, ranking above avalokitesvara Manjushri. But the Nine Lions didn't convert to Buddhism. He was still a Taoist. So the Jade Emperor instructed Taiyi to save the suffering Buddha, surrender to the Nine Lions, add his name Jiuling to Shengyuan, affectionately call him Shengyuan, and take him as his own. In view of what he did, Sakyamuni, who helped the poor in Taiyi, was very unfriendly to him. Beating him and scolding him is actually for the west. Don't dig a long way.
